Elizabeth II, 21 April 1926 – 8 September 2022, was Queen of the United Kingdom and of 14 other sovereign countries, including Australia Canada, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka, at the time of her death. She was also the Head of the Commonwealth and her reign of seventy years and seven months, which began on 6 February 1952, was the longest of any British monarch in history. Requiescat in pace. PS - What a fucking year... The world is a lesser place without her. She had true grace.
But now she is once again with her beloved Philip.
Rest In Peace

I've watched a few series and movies about her life recently. Very interesting stuff.
Now to see what Charles does........or William, perhaps?

It'll be Charles first and then eventually William. However, time will tell how it all turns out.

Don't you feel.......not that he has to, but that he should consider it given his own age..........that he could just skip his place and turn it over to William now?
I don't know the procedure or rules, but I can't see how Charles and Camilla command a whole lotta respect, especially from those not all that impressed with continuing royalty.

It doesn't bother me one way or the other. I kind of like Charles, so it might be interesting to see him have a go at the top job. Personally, Charles and Camilla are my favourite Royal couple by a large margin. They seem perfect for each other, they love each othe and they're happy together... so good luck to them.

Well, when you put it like that........... I can see your point. It should be seen and used as an example that even all that wealth can't keep family from being very dysfunctional.

I think it just goes to show that no one is universally loved or hated. Everyone has their supporters and detractors. Just as with Diana. I understand she was massively popular - and rightly so - but I never cared for her personally. Each to their own...

She sure came off as one messed up and kinda childish person in the one or two series I saw.
It's funny the crowd she attracted, too

I'm talking about the real life person, not a fictional interpretation.

Like I said about that American comedian recently, some people you click with and some you don't. Or words to that effect. I didn't hate her, I just didn't care for her.

I'm glad that Charles and Camilla finally got to be together, as well, but the specter of that blonde tart will haunt C&C for the rest of their days.

Yeah, but for the rest of their days, it'll be Camilla sitting beside her husband, King Charles III, not Diana. Diana might've married a future king and she might've given birth to a future king, but that's as close as she got to the throne. So I'd say things were looking up for C&C...

PnB Rock AKA "Selfish" was a 30 year-old American rapper who died of natural causes.
Or to put it another way, he was shot.
