John Gibb Marshall, 11 January 1953 – 2 November 2020, better known by the stage name John Sessions.
He was a British actor and comedian, known for his appearances in television shows such as DOCTOR WHO, MIDSUMMER MURDERS, NEW TRICKS, ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE, QI, SHERLOCK, SPITTING IMAGE and WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? He was also known as a character actor who appeared in numerous films, such as GANGS OF NEW YORK, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE, THE GOOD SHEPHARD, THE IRON LADY and MR HOLMES, both in the UK and in Hollywood.
He was 67.
