I have no real opinion or care on the matter. The closest I can come to believing in anything is a positive/negative energy force. That's about it. I didn't call YOU the Devil. I just said the Devil.........along with everyone else can quote scripture. It's easy because you can back up pretty much any argument with them one way or the other. I may not be the poorest, I am sometimes an armed man. And many sects bounce back and forth between the Old & New to suit their whims. They can't even agree on the overall message, per se hence all of the various sects within. I get all of that.....multiple writers over multiple generations. Myths woven in with life lessons and parables. I take it all with a grain of salt. And slavery was all around the world back then, and even still today. I don't understand all the crying here now. The Council of Nicea or another gathering? Yep I understand Jesus' own brother almost didn't make it in. It's all contradictory if you look hard enough. I'm not defensive at all.........it's not my book or belief. I'm just asking cuz you claim to be a Christian or buy into His teachings. He struck me as an inconsistent guy, like most people. Even before that, between the many translations and multiple languages, things may have been screwed up. I told you I read Don't Know Much About the Bible, right? Good read and some interesting tales. Not to mention the many forms of Satan, the Devil, Beelzebub, etc etc etc Many more debates they've had. I've seen enough of SNL to know how it works.......It may not be as glaringly biased as the MSM, but it's pretty close. I didn't even realize it until many years watching were in the bag.......then looking back and realizing they always shit on the conservatives.......while lightly cajoling their preferred politicians. I haven't really bothered watching them since around the time Mike Myers left
So even mythology evolves. Words Translations.

Yeah. They will adopt your baby if you're white and the baby has no disabilities.
But let's be even more honest. Those two couples look like the type to be drinking baby blood under the local pizzeria....

How easy does the Govt make it for those people to adopt unwanted pregnancies?
As easy as they make it to abort?

What percentage of abortions are healthy white babies?
If anything, I think we see a lot more handicapped and disabled people than ever before.

They want a baby. The reason there are so many in foster care is they are "damaged." The parents can't pass it off as their baby they gave birth to. A 5 yr old doesn't appear from nowhere. That has long been an issue. Long have social programs groups promoted adopting older children but there is that gulf that is almost impossible to cross. Adopt unwanted pregnancy? People adopt pregnancies now. Or they adopt small humans? Babies? It comes down to a moral decision. Do you know how many women die in childbirth? The complications a woman can develop & deal with? So some couple can adopt that baby the mother should risk death? You know our mortality rate from childbirth is higher than a lot of similar 1st world countries? But it's just lazy bitches aborting fetuses for their ease if life, right? Maternal Deaths per 100,000 live births Columbia 50.7 Latvia 37.6 Mexico 34.2 Costa Rica 20.2 United States 17.4Turkey 13.1 Portugal 11.5 Hungary 11.2 Lithuania 11 Chile 10.9 Finland 10.9 Korea 9.9 France 7.6 But hey, it just selfish bitches, right? You think a comedy has any part of thos argument? From the 80s, isn't it? Kidnapping makes them good parents?

you did not answer the question..........is it easy to adopt? is it even close to inexpensive? The lesbian couple we knew ended up going to Russia, of all places, and spending $Tens of thousands in order to get a little girl out of an orphanage. (Damaged goods, to boot)
I know I wouldn't want any part of many of the kids in Foster Care these days, sorry to say.
WHY do you think I am pro-choice, merh? If you even believe it at all. It's because kids are a huge financial drain these days in the US. So I know better than most that getting an abortion can keep a person from remaining stuck in poverty long term. So be selfish, it's your right. It's my right.
That comedy explained Ed's insides were a rocky place where his seed could find no purchase. Funny enough for me.
Nathan Arizona and his wife had more kids than most......they could afford to lose one. Just like the wealthy can afford to give up their wealth, too right?
In case you've never seen the movie........EVERYONE in their life tries to kidnap that baby from them......so in the end, they loved him and wanted the best for him so much, they returned him to his parents.

LGBTQ are often pushed out of the adoption market because they are ALL pedos don't you know? And babies are hard enough to come by that yeah, they are a premium in many cases. This is why people go surrogate. Even then the surrogate might decide to keep the baby so one gets screwed. momlovesbest.com/baby-costI saw it when it came out. Rented the video from Blockbuster when it was new. Wasn't impressed. Think hubby liked it

Becoming adoptive parents is difficult, invasive, and expensive, hence the number of babies adopted from overseas. The fact that people would rather pay for expensive flights back and forth to Russia or China than deal with the American process really tells one all they need to know.
The US foster care program is a mess and needs to be dealt with.

Biggest problem is the government tends to take the squeaky wheel approach. Kid dies in fostercare, they focus on keeping the child with the parents in future cases. Parent kills the kid, they remove the future kids at first sign of trouble. Lurch from one extreme to the other. So there is always going to be kids not served because the focus is always one step behind.

And an expensive college degree is required but the salary isn't enough to pay back the student loans incurred in getting the degree.
We (as a society) value the job intellectually but not practically.

That's one polite way of putting it.
At this point, you'd think with all of the recent rules regarding Calorie Displays on menu boards and ingredients in packaging........ that a full disclosure requirement would be made on college courses/career paths? As in how much the typical grad can expect to make upon graduation, the Odds of finding work in that field, etc etc
or even more ridiculous a request, eliminating this charade of needing a 'well rounded' education in order to mandate courses that have little to do with yourfield of study or the job you're wanting to pursue in the future.
I still remember the hardcore Feminist I used to chat with all the time....... still living with her Mom........over $70K in debt a decade ago........with a major in Art History? How many job openings are there for people with those sorta creds?

We give parents wide leeway. We let them do all sorts of stuff in the name of "its their kid". I disagreed with a lot of what my kid's friends were allowed to do while they envied stuff I allowed. Ohmygod. I just saw an "adulting" commercial for heinz ketchup.

it seems the public schools and teachers unions are trying to wrest that away from them........or is it the parents are giving it over?
Yeah, each household can have a wide variety of different policies and approaches. Even within that household, depending on the kid.
I love Heinz. What was it about specifically?

I think the information about how much a job will pay is out there and fairly easy to find. The problem is that many government jobs simply don't pay well. YOU complain all the time about how the government misspends trillions, yet here is a perfect example of where the government should be spending more.
I was about to ask what you meant about this "well-rounded" thing but then I remembered that you're a bigot so I'm guessing that you are talking about "race and gender studies" classes. Amiright? Take it up with the university administrators.
As for an Art History major... I can imagine a number of jobs they should be good at, but none of them are high-paying enough to pay off the average amount of debt. Hell, I'll bet living independently is out of the question. It's another of those scam degrees.
