I'm not sure why that's so confusing? Capitalists support making money and lowering your tax burden as much as possible. But supporting various forms of welfare? You figure that's high on their list of priorities? Found this for you:
Proverbs 3:9: Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Genesis 26:12-14: Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him. The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy. Ever notice how the truly wealthy can often afford to fund all sorts of charitable causes? I know I'd rather give directly to things I believe in rather than trusting the Govt to spend that money.
Old Testament. Christ replaced whatever they want to promote out of that book. You found a section on tithing which fed the priests so of course they wanted you to give up the best. And the whole prosperity concept that has been exploited by the likes of Creflo Dollar.

Just an FYI: My grandparents had 16 kids living in a small cape cod style 2 story home. My current home is probably at least twice the size of that home.
The entire back yard was a garden that the kids were expected to harvest from.
Clothing consisted mostly of hand-me-downs.
And they struggled greatly........ and that was before my Grandpa died relatively young......leaving his wife alone to raise their children.
Story mom tells is her father was 5 when she died (so around 1937) working for the railroad so she placed the $5 death payment down on a home in Florida & paid $5/month for the home using the monthly payment to the kids.

It is really isn't fair they run a credit check for renters, but the history of paying rent in time doesn't count. Now I see that stupid boost thing will count your Netflix payments? Why not rent & utilities?

I agree with you there. If you've been paying Rent for years, never missed a payment..........then you should easily qualify for a mortgage of that same amount or less, imo.
Boost? Izzat the newest thing where people increase their credit scores somehow?
Now my questions for you........ what about all these people that claim to just wanna be renters their entire lives?
or if rent is more affordable than ownership, (as a few articles have claimed lately) then why isn't their a growing balance to be used as a downpayment?
Last thing..........if we somehow recently resulted in America having more renters than owners with the lowest mortgage rates in history........how the heck are they gonna afford it at all once Biden & Co get thru driving Inflation thru the roof.......again? I'm old enough to remember Jimmy Carter's era and the rates back then.

Yep, Cena on that bull. Gotta love security these days. Our online info is as open as our borders.
Exactly. Sorta my point about these historic lows in interest rates and the rise in renters. If they couldn't take advantage of this..........then they're signing up for a lifetime of higher rents and a loss of control. Like so many voters these days

OMG, too funny. The poor guy.
When all the smaller and Mom & Pop places have been forced to stay closed? Of course the giants' profits are up.
It's not like the US Govt hasn't had massive failures, as well.

While I'm against over fishing......... I tend to lean more towards the Ant and not the Grasshopper
In that story of the fisherman, if he didn't go out for a few weeks or months or years.....what would he eat? Who would provide for him?

There's that big RINO argument you're willingly embracing.
THAT's why they're okay with so many Illegals, too

It says he caught enough for the day. My thought is what if he feels sick tomorrow, or something comes up & he can't go out fishing? Ralphs has 2ltrs on sale for 99 cents. Back of my head is saying "go back for more" when I picked up 7 which brings my shelf stock to 21 bottles. No. Don't need more, but my "what if" remains.

That's it exactly. It's called long term planning. Something millions seem to have issues with.
HA! HA! HA!
I'm the same way.
I finally broke down and agreed to give Festival $10 for a measly 3 12 paks of Pepsi, instead of the older deal of 4/$10. Stocked up on 15 this past week.

We are in price gouge zone. Supply & demand. Prices will come down eventually, maybe not to where it was, but it's not going to be what it is now. I see a lot of "don't shop Black Friday" right now, but I had no intent to shop that day already.
