For the first fifty or so years of the TV series, it was acknowledged that the Doctor was a Time Lord... the dominant intelligent species on his or her home planet Gallifrey. Of course, that's no longer his or her home planet and he/she/it doesn't even come from this universe. Basically, everything was retconned a year or so ago, to make the TV series a better fit with modern audiences... See JAMES BOND, STAR TREK, STAR WARS, TERMINATOR and so forth for further examples. |

If Emma thinks Australia only consists of a big rock and a pretty harbour, she needs to yank her head out of her arse. Other than that, most of the slang terms seem to check out, although as I'm not a Millennial, I don't know shit about avocados... Oh... and it's not the mozzie guys that bite you, it's the girls. |

Avocado toast is good too.
Take the pit out of a halved avocado, pour an egg mixture into the "bowl" and bake.
Damn. No I need to add avocados to the shopping list.....

I've heard that often enough before. I figure it must just be a preference kinda thing..........especially in the bar scene where Coke is preferred for mixing?
But I used to do the Dew, so even Pepsi's sweeter cola taste is a step down from that green sugary high. Sadly, like a lot of sugary cereal brands, I outgrew it.
Coke I usually save for the greasiest of food.........but oddly enough, I do prefer Cherry Coke to Cherry Pepsi.

I've recently got in the habit of preparing various types of beef stew out of a tin, with freshly cooked rice and an ice-cold shandy... I augment the beef stew with various spices and a large dollop of vegemite... mmm, yummy. It's got almost as many uses as a Swiss army knife. |

an olde friend of mine saved up for a long pined for trip to Australia.........and that was the one thing he insisted on bringing back with him. This was a few years before you could get just about anything online or thru Amazon.
