I liked the last line, about the stammer... I wish folks weren't so fussy about Biden's. What movie is this from? THE KING'S SPEECH. Jon and I were both huge fans of this film. For me personally, the inclusion of Beethoven's 7th symphony, 2nd movement was absolute perfection. I remember, a long time ago, recommending AMADEUS to you... did you ever watch it? It is an amazing film. Not completely historical, but the whole "dastardly plan" aspect was really well done. And of course, the music was incredible. |

THE KING'S SPEECH. Jon and I were both huge fans of this film. For me personally, the inclusion of Beethoven's 7th symphony, 2nd movement was absolute perfection. I remember, a long time ago, recommending AMADEUS to you... did you ever watch it? It is an amazing film. Not completely historical, but the whole "dastardly plan" aspect was really well done. And of course, the music was incredible. I continue to keep my eyes peeled, but no luck yet. I don't stream and physical media is becoming rarer and rarer. Someone recommended it on our most recent movie night, which I supported, but the suggestion was overruled. This was just after we watched THE BLOB and the remake of THE BLOB... I feel my biggest chance of seeing it is if it's screened on SBS, a multicultural TV network in Australia. The TV network has several channels including a dedicated international movie channel... |
