President Biden will not throw the ceremonial first pitch on Thursday’s opening day at Nationals Park, a team spokesperson confirmed.
“We look forward to welcoming President Biden to Nationals Park in the future,” a team spokesperson told The Washington Post, which first reported the news. A reason for why Biden will not throw the first pitch wasn’t provided.
Maybe the ever reliable and accurate Fauci can fill in for him?

A googly is a kind of pitch similar to a baseball pitch or a bowling throw in the game cricket... A wicked googly would be a really good bowl. The bowler must bowl the ball, throwing results in a no ball that awards the batting team one run and the bowl must be repeated. |

And then, there are the statistics and stories - historical and contemporary - of the world of cricket. Thankfully, you only need to know the basics for backyard cricket. |

I've been a fan of cricket since I was a little kid... and I probably don't know more than a fraction of the official match rules for test match cricket... or One Day International cricket... or Twenty20 cricket... And then, there are the statistics and stories - historical and contemporary - of the world of cricket. Thankfully, you only need to know the basics for backyard cricket. I had crickets in my backyard once. I sprayed and got a good night's sleep. |

It's not like they were the flesh-eating scarab beetles that Brendan Frasier had to deal with.

it's funny how difficult it can be, too
I was just talking American football with someone that has played it and watched it for years........and they were surprised at the revelation that play-action is an effective way to influence the defense.
