it's funny how difficult it can be, too
I was just talking American football with someone that has played it and watched it for years........and they were surprised at the revelation that play-action is an effective way to influence the defense.
Yup. Yet fans understand it almost instinctually
I was gonna make a sexist remark.......but are there even any women here to be offended? Would it be like that tree falling in the forest scenario?

There are female members but they post extremely rarely. That said, I do know some women who make my knowledge of sports look like that of a toddler. |

Absolutely. No doubt there are many, many such women. Some were even born that way.
Just the proliferation of games like NFL Madden has left me in the dust. (dang controller with too many buttons)

Well, there are always...  Cute! It'll mostly protect you from a cricket ball if it's hurtling at your head in excess of 100 MPH, although a few years back, an up-and-coming cricketer got hit in the neck and died shortly afterwards. |
