Those polls never ask people if they wanna pay 40-65% in taxes, though. Very odd and selective questioning.
And since 1/2 the country isn't Net Gain tax payers anyway, why should it surprise anyone to see rising numbers in favor of more handouts? at other peoples' expense, of course.
This UHC discussion has been going on for decades. WHERE are all the volunteers? Doctors and nurses and clinics willing to just plain donate more and more towards what they claim to believe in? I saw some of them are trying to form yet another Union? but not a Co-Op? Totally self-defeating, imo
Co-ops are socialism, aren't they? I have explained that 47% lie many times, dude.
They may be.........but it's the VOLUNTARY sort of participation that makes all the difference, imo.
People of all backgrounds and parties lie all the time. It's almost universal.

The 47% isn't constant. Other than the old people on social security who make too little to have to pay. The working age people move out of it. They land there for losing a job or having a kid but are back in the work force paying taxes within 5 yrs. So no. I see poor people and what they get up to all the time. I've seen it for 5 decades.
About the only new thing about it is the programs invented to help them in their endeavors and the toys or activities they add to their lives.

I also notice that NONE of the been there forever GOPers still ever bothered offering up their Plan that they needed before they would repeal the ACA........even though they never mentioned that when they ran on repealing it.
I'm sure it's tucked in a folder with their other plans on how to shrink the Federal Govt

I didn't say it was. I just thought it was a funny little factoid on their tune.
The video was hilarious and well remembered from it's time.
