It's because Q mentioned it in one of his very first posts (#34, Nov. 1st, 2017). It was going to be activated starting November 3rd, when the arrest of (among others) Hillary Clinton and John Podesta would be announced, to get around the fake news from the MSM.

(At this point of the development of his story, he clearly still thinks of the MSM as continuing to broadcast despite The Storm already having started. No Ten Days of Darkness yet, that term is only introduced November 5th. That was a Sunday, and it wouldn't surprise me at all if that weekend he went to the cinema and saw Blade Runner 2049, which had just been released. That is the movie he lifted the phrase "ten days of darkness" from.)

But I discovered just the other day that it goes back much further, and that it's yet another thing Q just stole from existing conspiracy theory lore. I came across a reference to the EBS being used in this exact same way, to announce the White Hats have toppled the Cabal, in NESARA kook stuff from 2016 (and from the context, it was clearly not introduced as a new idea). Even the actual word "cabal" is used.

Which is not all that surprising, considering the Emergency Broadcast System hasn't been around by that name since 1997, when it was replaced by the Emergency Alert System. The continuing use of the old name does suggest its use in these kinds of fantasy tales is quite old.

2020 he had a track record. People voted for Biden instead of Trump. People didn't vote for Biden because they really really liked him. He offered stability to Trump's chaos.

The law known as AB60 took effect on January 2, 2015. The California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) expects a total of about 1.4 million people will get their license under the law by late 2017.

Governor Jerry Brown, a Democrat, signed the law in October 2013 to give a legal document to the 2.5 million undocumented immigrants in California alone — most from Latin America and particularly neighboring Mexico.

That announcement renewed interest in another California law, the “New Motor Voter Act,” which was passed in October 2015. The combination of these two acts, one allowing undocumented residents to obtain driver’s licenses, the other automatically registering citizens to vote when obtaining driver’s licenses, sparked fears (which have been periodically resurrected for more than a decade) that California was allowing undocumented residents to vote.

Judge Andrew Napolitano gave a voice to these fears during an appearance on “Fox & Friends”:

But neither Assembly Bill 60 nor the New Motor Voter Act provide undocumented immigrants with any additional federal benefits:

It does not allow license holders, for example, the right to fly on airplanes inside the United States, nor does it give anyone legal residency status, the right to work or to seek a US passport.

Sundrop Carter, executive director of the Pennsylvania Immigration and Citizenship Coalition, says it was especially disturbing for immigrants who were trying to become citizens.

" 'I received this in the mail, I don't know why,' " she says they would tell their lawyers. " 'I didn't think I was eligible to register to vote. Am I actually? Should I go vote?' "

The answer was definitely "No." That would be illegal (noncitizens are not eligible to vote in federal elections, but a handful of jurisdictions allow them to vote in some local races).

Since 1995, federal law has required states to offer people a chance to register to vote when they visit a local motor vehicle office.

But it turns out that Pennsylvania, like some other states, was asking that question of everyone who applied for a driver's license or state ID card — even those showing green cards or other documents identifying them as noncitizens.

Texas officials recently announced that 95,000 noncitizens appeared to be on that state's voter rolls. Those numbers have since been shown to be seriously flawed, but it hasn't stopped Trump from insisting such fraud is rampant.

While claims of massive illegal voting by noncitizens have routinely been disproved, some noncitizens have ended up on the rolls, usually by accident.


"What is the 'vote,' what should I do?"

Immigrants like Asife, who lived in Pennsylvania on a student visa in the early 2000s, were confused by the process of getting a driver's license and accidentally registered to vote. (NPR is not using his full name because what he did was technically illegal, and he's concerned about the repercussions in his community.)

"When I come here, I have no English language at all, like I barely, like you know, have some words," he says.

He didn't understand what the clerk was asking him, especially because Asife came from a country where elections are seldom held.

"The guy there didn't explain what is the 'vote,' what I should do? He just look at the screen and he told me, 'Okay, so answer this question.' And like I have no clue," says Asife.

He signed the form and forgot about it until he applied for citizenship seven years later and learned he was illegally registered to vote. Asife never actually voted and was able to become a U.S. citizen.

After hearing hundreds of similar stories, Pennsylvania officials realized they had a problem. They decided to change their system so that one of the first questions people are asked when applying for a driver's license is "Are you a citizen?" If the answer is no, applicants are never asked whether they want to register to vote. The forms are also available in 14 languages, instead of two.

David Becker, executive director of the Center for Election Innovation & Research, says other states also accidentally register noncitizens. Sometimes it's just a misunderstanding between the motor vehicles department and election officials over whose job it is to verify citizenship.

Small numbers of votes

Becker says the number of noncitizens who end up on the rolls is relatively small and the number who actually vote is even smaller. Pennsylvania officials estimated that the noncitizens they identified cast 544 votes from 2000 through 2017, out of 93 million overall votes cast.

"Again, a tiny drop in the bucket compared to the eligible voter population, but clearly something we want to avoid," says Becker.

Last Friday, Texas Secretary of State David Whitley sent an advisory to local registrars asking them to look at their voter rolls. Whitley said his office flagged the names of 95,000 people who at one point in the past 22 years had identified as noncitizens with the Texas Department of Public Safety. In that time span, officials said, they also registered to vote.

Voting rights groups have said the state's list is likely a list of naturalized citizens who recently got the right to vote.

The state has provided little information about the methodology it used to compile the list, which has concerned both local election officials and voting rights groups.

"I don't know how they crafted their list," said Travis County's Tax Assessor-Collector Bruce Elfant, who manages the county's voter rolls.

Elfant says he has been holding off contacting voters on the original list of alleged noncitizens that the state gave him. He says the list had the names of about 4,500 people who live in Travis County, which includes the city of Austin and its suburbs.

On Tuesday, he told state and other local officials that they should remove a group of voters who were erroneously on their first list.

"The list will shrink significantly from the original 4,500 we received," he said.

Elfant said it's unclear how large the new number will be or whether the updated list will be any more reliable.

At the Registrar's office it is confirmed if they have the right to vote in every section.  Say someone from El Cajon votes the whole ballot. They can't vote San Diego city stuff so those sections are not tallied.

Is it that hard to understand?
We put people on the moon & can't figure out elections?

Some show was pitching they had 10 bombings a month by the end of that decade-between animal rights groups & anti-war protesters. The claim was it was so commonplace news shows didn't report on most of them.

Leave the rabid Trumpsters and the diehard Dems out of this..........the average person that doesn't really follow politics is regretting changing direction in 2020. That's a fact. No matter how hard the MSM tries to dress it up otherwise.

We'd have a female president if one showed up with a true fiscally conservative plan and a socially liberal outlook. She'd get my vote.

Some show was pitching they had 10 bombings a month by the end of that decade-between animal rights groups & anti-war protesters. The claim was it was so commonplace news shows didn't report on most of them.

Selective reporting. They could ignore the occasional school shooting the way they totally ignore big city gang shootings..........but it doesn't push their gun control agenda forward.

Just like they called all that rioting and looting 'mostly peaceful'.......but then called Jan 6th worse than 9/11? How the hell are we supposed to take any of them seriously anymore?

They spent an awful lotta time, energy and most importantly $Money protesting Donald Trump.........when they could have simply directed it all towards their stated goals directly. I'm so unimpressed with all of them, from the racial groups to the women.  Pitiful perpetual dependents.

What difference does it make? It's called a precedent. The mere fact that you're OK with non-citizens voting says a lot.

And I was fully supportive of gays and their ability to marry another adult.

But lookie there........Covid just gave the Govt all the reason in the world to deny people from seeing their loved ones during their final hours. Funny how quickly these complaints get tossed aside in favor of more Govt control.
