I think you need to look at it again. Chelsea says they were friends, but not the confidante type & that she disagreed with the Trump administration policies. If you remember, everyone was saying Ivanka would tone Donald down on some of the women's issues, but she didn't really. So it sounds more like a casual relationship, speak at parties, etc, but not the hang with one another all day sort of "Let's go shopping" or "do lunch". I am killing off Blacklist in my DVR. S9 Ep16 Raymond says "Wheels of justice & all that. Terrible Metaphor, really. Wheels turn. Justice sits" With all the cases law enforcement works on, you think a year to verify paperwork from the Philippines is too long? You have seen how ridiculous the immigration courts are, right? That the judges have to decide an insane amount of cases per day or risk losing the appointment? I really don't care if my state doubles in population. Right now we are the 11th most densely populated of the states, 17th, if you count the territories like Puerto Rico, DC, & Samoa. We have 254 people per square mile. New Jersey is 1st with 1263 per square mile, though DC beats them in the total list with 11,295 per square mile.
I'm not under the illusion they were great friends or lifemates.
She didn't tone him down enough to your liking.
I think Blacklist jumped the shark a bit. Still entertaining..........but
Record keeping and computing should be easier than it's ever been before.
You don't care? Enjoy your rental rates and cost of living.

My jaded thought? Construction everywhere in town. And when it's done? Luxury apartments. Condos even. The affordable housing they claim they are building? Devoured by cost overruns

Of course, the costs keep climbing for everyone......but with the Govt involved in anyway? It'll end up just like your high speed rail.
This upcoming election, just keep in mind they can tabulate whether the Powerball has a winner or not usually in under 4 hours.

People should have the right to strike or quit.
Just as employers should have the right to replace them with other people

it just struck me...........there's tons of cleaning crews all over the US working at night. Especially in places like grocery stores. Many of those positions are filled by Illegals.
What has union done about that? Except try to sign them up? or get their vote?

My union fought it. Every union I know of fights contracting work out The company uses the idea they will save a buck. It happened to me. We had an IT department when I was hired as an operator in 1987. Then everyone started moving to contracting the service out. My union fought it twice. Third time the union rep was a friend of our new director. We lost out. That's when I transferred to stay with the government job. I lost contact with the others, but I understand they were whittled down slowly to save the new company a buck as the county automated those services

I find those conflicts of interest to be very odd. Like cop unions that donate to leftist politicians badmouthing the police at every turn. Those unions are well aware all of these IDs and Drivers Licenses for Illegals was just another form of amnesty and voting corruption. But still they all look the other way?
Sooner or later they'll farm it all out to overseas answering centers.

No. Drivers licenses issued to undocumented people are not valid forms of ID. are you suggesting having an ID allows for one to buy liquor so we need to stop issuing IDs to minors? The move to make IT contract work was very stupid because it allowed outside forces to access sensitive databases. Let's contract work out to agencies with ties to foreign governments next!

You say that, yet we know many don't even ask for ID in the first place.
Fake IDs don't exist? Awful lot of minors get their hands on alcohol every day, every year......and worse.
Too late. They've already got our info.........and can certainly access it thru multiple sources.

No. A voter needs to state their name & address. It needs to match what is on the voter roll. So all these illegals need to register, be recognized as a valid voter to be entered on the voter roster, then go to a poll to vote. If they did not provide proper identification when they registered to vote, they need to show their drivers license before they vote. So that drivers license they get that proves they know the rules of the road to drive in the US DOES NOT clear the Registrar's office so they cannot vote. YOU said Which is why I said ... The government having my infonis one thing. Working in law enforcement as I did, I had to run checks on my clients in the state database. There are strict rules for the use of that database which, if violated can cost the local agency the right to access the system. So no, we took a class every other year about it. Privacy. Accessing & sharing info. I had a co-worker who apparently looked up her brother's girlfriend & GOT FIRED FOR IT. When I worked adult I heard of the contract workers for the IT system BRAG ABOUT being able to look up people in the system for personal use, something we could get fired OR JAILED over.
