Maybe you should have considered C alongside B in the first place....
That would likely have entailed considering D-Z, as well then
Possibly. There doesn't necessarily have to be that many options, but careful consideration could avoid having to go back to square 1.

That's kinda my point.
You seem to ignore how much more advanced you are........while ignoring how dense and cyclical most people are. You can include me in that, if you'd prefer.

I'd love to live in a world that is more advanced. Unfortunately, neither "left" nor "right" seems interested in advancing anything except their years in office.

Before Ricky, there was Hoges... "One wrong word... one foolish gesture... and your whole career can go down in flames."
Note to 18-year-old Will Smith....

1959? Those days of abject unfairness and sexism/racism/and a thousand other abuses?
You two sound like a couple of those 'In the good old days' types

You two sound like a couple of those 'In the good old days' types Interestingly, I always find the arguments against the "good old days" always tend to focus on what was bad back then rather than understanding that the fight for equality was the downtrodden actually wanting that exact "golden" lifestyle for themselves as well.

I think you could probably find someone saying something similar decades or centuries earlier.
The point to me is it's not a secret or magical formula...........but the reality that you can not get people to either understand or agree to those clearly rational thoughts.

That's a valid point.
It also takes ignoring all the steps/progress that has been made along the way.
In a weird funny way, the majority is complaining because this generation will be the first to not see an upward improvement........so they're receding overall economically. And the minority groups may even be equal or surpassing, but it isn't or won't be like that 'golden age' of the 50s and early 60s simply because the US is not the only powerhouse on the planet with most of the manufacturing jobs and the rest of the world relying on them for everything.

Very possibly. However, if so, they failed to get it on video. And it doesn't lessen the truth or the wisdom of what BR said.
