YouTube’s ‘suspicious censorship’ of Sky News Australia: Andrew Bolt

A damaging lie has “spread around the world” following YouTube’s “suspicious censorship” of Sky News Australia, according to Andrew Bolt.

“Naturally, news outlets of the left are just cock-a-hoop that we’re blocked from posting on our hugely successful YouTube channel,” he said.

“But one of the things that makes YouTube’s censorship of Sky News so very suspicious is the reason YouTube gave our competitors and our critics before we called it out.”

Sky News host Andrew Bolt pointed to other media channels which had quoted a YouTube spokesman explaining the suspension.

“Claiming we’d broken its rules, specifically that YouTube doesn’t allow content that denies the existence of COVID-19,” Mr Bolt said.

“That claim … is 100 per cent false.

“Something is not right about this. There’s something very dangerous about how debate is being censored by these foreign social giants.”

Why is it that "right wing" types want everyone to have to follow the rules... except them?

Why do they think it's important for businessmen to be able to run their businesses as they see fit - like when the baker refuses to make a cake - until they become the one out in the proverbial cold?

I don't get this heavy handed censorship.

I don't think even climate change had so much emphasis on not even allowing any argument or discussion.

Opposing carbon credits most likely won't kill their friends, family, and neighbors within a few weeks... or even make them sick.

If Sky News actually said - or even suggested - that Covid doesn't exist, then they are dangerous and allowing that content opens Youtube to litigation. Why do you oppose businesses defending themselves against litigation?
