There's a certain poster on this board who is probably NOT going to watch the video simply because "John Oliver is a Commie!" or some stupid shit like that, but on the off-chance that they do watch the video, you can rest assured that they will want to know why the people who need ambulance services didn't just act upon their personal responsibility and NOT have a heart attack.
I'm also guessing that they will berate the EMTs for not shopping around for a better company to work for even though the answer is right there in the video.
I can imagine that certain poster HATING the idea of a governing body at the federal level because "too much gubmint in our lives a'ready, gol'dangit!"
All of which are pretty much the only reasons I have for posting the video.
Enjoy!

Made it about 5 minutes before I bailed. I also recognized that purse-lipped PBS douche in the interview.
My take is this: HOW do you think that clumsy woman knew an ambulance ride was $3000? Experience?
Are you aware of just how many 'free' riders it takes to drive up the cost to paying customers? But you'll excuse the freeloaders again, probably.
lemme know if I missed anything really important from Mr. Oliver.......who annoys me even more than Colbert these days.

1. Too much truth for you to handle?
2. Maybe she can read? Do you think she has no friends? Do you think she got her leg caught between the train and the platform on purpose so she could "make a statement"?
3. Maybe you should have watched more than 5 minutes of the video.
4. I know. Smart people pointing out out why and where your philosophy is faulty must be aggravating. Have you considered going back to 3rd grade?
