On that 'other' forum, I've been called out on a few occasions for the sheer amount of postings I have......... but that's also including all of the Threads I start to bring about discussions and conversation.
So in a way, I'm patting myself on the back for putting forth the effort to get more traffic flowing......... but it is funny to be criticized for the patterns I employ when posting.
I usually post things that I feel are worthy of discussion........and often it's usually something as simple as ME not buying into the bullshit agenda the mainstream media is attempting to push with their coordinated pieces.
So which is better? A lot of traffic, discussion, arguing? Or a low thread count overall?
And, by the way, I don't consider the habits of some posters that flood the other board with pretty much the same subject matter a positive thing.

Let your freak flag fly!
Say what you gotta say. People are free to agree, disagree, or ignore. I think bitching about the count is something people do when they have nothing of substance to offer.

And not only that..........don't people wanna know what others think? Not to agree on everything........but to maybe come to understand how or why someone feels the way they do?

I take exception to your use of the word "understand."
In my experience, people rarely understand opinions contradictory to their own.

odd.
Maybe my anti-social and apathetic side sometimes plays a backseat to my sometimes rational and unemotional side?
Take abortion and all of the emotions involved in that one subject.......... when I was in my 20s, I just assumed it was going to disappear as a lynch pin political argument as the older religious types died off.
But then people I knew, that weren't religious at all started having kids of their own.........and suddenly I understood how many people use modern tech to have sonograms and look at their children........and the thought of abortion is suddenly something they would never even dream of, though they would still support it's legal status. Y'know what I mean?

No. I don't know what you mean.
People have a choice to have children. That's what "pro-choice" is all about.
You and the missus have CHOSEN to not have children. How you go about fulfilling that choice is none of my affair.
Forcing people to have sonograms simply to elicit an emotional response in order to promote unwanted births is a travesty and completely useless when a couple is determined to not have a child. All you are doing is forcing them (or their insurance company) to pay for an unnecessary procedure. I thought you hated government FORCE.
But let's just say that government FORCE prevails and people decide to have a child that they can't afford. Are you willing (as a supporter of FORCE) to provide health care, clothing, shelter, and a top-notch education to the product of your FORCE?
I mean, if you are going to FORCE people to have children, the least you can do is supplement the result....

I think you totally misread my point/intention.......... I was saying I thought the anti-abortion crowd would be gone by now. It wouldn't even BE a political war anymore. But the people that have had kids........not for religious reasons anymore, have replaced them in being somewhat against abortion in any instance. THAT was my point.
I hate Govt force. I hate being forced to pay for others children AND other's abortions/healthcare. And you should know I'm against anyone bring kids they can't afford into the world.
Where's the inexpensive over the counter abortion pill? Instead of subsidizing Planned Parenthood for another few decades?
I've stated many times, I couldn't care less if every fertilized embryo from now til Doomsday is discarded. Not my worry or problem........until the Govt forces it on me, of course.

Aah. OK
But you don't mind the government forcing you to pay for firefighters, police officers, soldiers, postal service, roads...?
Ask Big Pharma that earns over a TRILLION dollars a year and spends hundreds of millions of dollars on lobbying where the affordable solution is.
You don't ever need to worry about any embryos that aren't yours and the government isn't subsidizing abortions... except when the recipient of the government money misuses the funds. If they are misusing the funds, then you have to punish them a bit so they don't do it again, but you can't stop funding them completely. That's cutting off your nose to spite your face.
The number of abortions in the US is going down and a lot of that is due to the efforts of organizations like PP as well as the government funded (taxpayer paid) sex ed in schools.
Not covering abortions with UHC would cause an increase in abortion costs which would drive down the number of abortions and strain UHC with the health issues of the growing number of unwanted, uncared-for, children... which you already are forced to take care of through current welfare programs.
There's no easy solution, but saying, "Every man for himself" is the worst one.
