1. On the one hand......... it seems to lead to a lot of people from various nations hooking up............but does it really get rid of nationalism/tribalism? Doesn't seem to.
And how many poor could be housed and fed with the resources wasted on these dog & pony shows?

2. I seem to recall once or twice the planning was better and the housing built for Olympic games was used afterwards for a country's poor/citizenry. But I'm not sure how effective that has been overall?
It'd be a bit more tolerable if they used these events to clear out some historically bad areas and do a complete improvement/makeover, don't you think?

I found out my internet boyfriend/girlfriend is cheating on me using an alias. Someone posted pornography and it sullied my innocent virgin eyes. Someone posted pornography and my boss saw it. I lost an argument in a chat room. I asked for critique on my writing and got it. Other. Yes / No: Were there tears? Yes / No: Was there permanent mental scarring from the butt-hurt?
