Yeah, my faith is being restored on a daily basis as the Brennan and Clappers and other clowns like them float in and out.
I trust the FBI more than the CIA.
I LOVE that reply.
At least we can agree that neither one of them is the shining beacon on the hill to be trusted no matter what.
The only real difference is the CIA gets up to their shit OUTSIDE the US, while the FBI plays their little games INSIDE the US.
So in reality, I think you should be much more afraid of the FBI.

Still moving. Saturday is the last day. So damned tired. Then I need to pay some cards down a bit. Looking at Xmas or January for a car. I have no problem with Newsom. Pelosi doesn't represent me. She's Bay Area, some 500 miles north of me. In the U.S. House of Representatives, San Diego County is split between five congressional districts: California's 49th congressional district, represented by Democrat Mike Levin California's 50th congressional district, represented by Republican Darrell Issa California's 51st congressional district, represented by Democrat Juan Vargas California's 52nd congressional district, represented by Democrat Scott Peters and California's 53rd congressional district, represented by Democrat Sara Jacobs. City was putting homeless up in apartments-the ones calling 911 the most because it was ultimately cheaperSorry, dude. You are reading too much into that
Hopefully you've got something like 2 Men and a Truck near you for the heavy lifting? Make it easy on yourself. Was this move planned all along? I can't think of many things more draining past the age of 40 than moving. It just plain ain't fun........but it does give you the opportunity to lighten the load and get rid of things you've just been hoarding for years.
Check out Scotty Kilmer on youtube to pick out the best model/year Toyota or Honda for yourself.
She and her nephew have really been doing a bang up job showing us all how politics is supposed to run.
There's even cheaper options, but that would be mean.
No, I don't think I am. When he replies to her "We'll stop him." WTH do you think that means? It'd be one thing if he wasn't in a position to actually do direct harm.......then it's just blowing off steam and talking shyte. But combined with the Mueller team? They dragged that crap out for years when they KNEW all along that there was nothing to the Russian collusion claims. Even shitty shifty Schiff never got around to providing that proof he claimed to have. And now he's crying over January 6th? What a piece of feces he truly is.

No. When it all is said & done, we are going to learn just how messed up Donnie's administration was. I believe in freedom of speech. The communist scare was not that. You have your opinions They don't match everyone else. Dude, people are dying from Covid lies. You knew before you posted. Text from my sister around an hour back. I have always believed in tact. Loose lips sink ships I really don't pay attention to Donnie's kids. Other than to counter you. Am I on welfare? Did I not have a job since 1978? I applied for unemployment, but got a job before even receiving a check.
Yes, you'll learn about every mean tweet and word he ever uttered.........while the Clintons, Obamas and Bidens of the world get a pass and cover from the same media types providing you with all that so called dirt on Trump.
I know my opinions do not match everyone else. I'm in the minority. I'm surrounded by more and more Marxists as the years go by.
People are dying from old age and cancer and the many types of flu, too. I don't support locking down the world and removing peoples' right for those either.
I think tact is wonderful most of the time.........but sometimes you gotta be blunt when tact doesn't work.
You can be on welfare and have a job. I work with a few in that exact position. Funny how well read and prepared people can be to play within those rules when it matters to them.
I considered unemployment once, as well. But when I found out it would just come from a general fund, I said "Forget it." And I've never gone more than a couple of weeks without finding employment.
There's no reason we went from the lowest unemployment in history to what's going on now.......except for the fact the Govt is handing out more in welfare. It makes long term voters for them, so they're more than happy to keep doling it out. It's flat out thievery from this generation......and the next few.

So you never paid attention to what was said about him before he ever ran? Trump was a gadfly. He was in Home Alone 2 as a condition of allowing them to film in his hotel. Never saw Gremlins 2? The director said the only reason "Clamp" wasn't more scummy was because John Glover was too nice. They liked working from home & want it to continue. We told them they could be whatever they wanted to be & they are doing it. Take this job & shove it. Dude, my husband played the unemployment game. Get laid off & milk it for as long as possible. He's been dead 20 yrs. Yes, it's horrible when a job pays one less than enough to survive. Long story. No 2 men. I gave the upstairs neighbor & his friend $300 each to move some of it. Calling a junk man Thursday to haul the rest away. No, it wasn't planned. In February they did their annual inspection & informed me my building was slated for remodel on August 1. So I was thinking I would retire & be able to go through my years of crap-no. Damn. Guys, don't ever bitch about gals. Moved half my husband's tools today. How many goddammit sockets does 1 guy need? They weigh a ton. 150 boxes. We loaded them. The upstairs neighbor brought them in for us.(for $60 a day, 2 days). Books. Dvds. BAGS of clothes I just threw in trash bags & brought over. I am sorting once we finished into donate or keep. Probably washing before donating. We moved a dozen of my kid's $130 Disney designer dolls. I have a Rubbermaid tub full of fricken Disney Princesses waiting for my kid to claim. Dude, have you forgotten the experts said no way Trump would win? Some believed it was planned by Hillary so she would have an easy win. So yeah, we won't let that happen is what a lot of us believed. People couldn't be THAT stupid as to vote for Donald Trump. But they were.

I didn't care about him in the slightest before he ran, merh. NEVER watched his shows or bought his books. Did not care.
I can totally see how a place like Hollywood & NYC would be filled with leftists that have a negative opinion of the guy........but you notice many of them still did business with him before he ran? They seem to have all sorts of tolerance for a goomba like Cuomo, don't they?
It can't be all that tough to get welfare for all the people I see whipping out their EBT cards these days. It's my understanding the main trick to getting Unemployment is to be fired (and not quit) your previous job.
Hirigana is a whack job that's been bitching about his employment status for far longer than I've ever been unemployed. And I've bounced from job to job to job in my teens and early 20s. Your kid's generation has NO IDEA what tough work actually is.
They ALL can't be whatever they want to be. Very few have the drive and ambition to do what it takes to succeed at those levels. Reality has some shocking news in store for them. See? Your husband wasn't the most skilled or ingenious guy was he? Yet he managed to play the game.
I never agreed to support other peoples' kids. How that ever became part of this corrupt system is beyond me. See? Yet another person you know personally that somehow managed to milk this system and steal from others. So, stop insisting it isn't corrupt and nobody is ripping it off. They are. And most social workers know it. My brother in law is a cop and he transferred into fraud investigation.......after just a year or so he transferred back out because he couldn't stand seeing it go on and not being able to put a stop to it. It's downright sickening.
And there's one of the biggest problems with the system........it's all or nothing. They don't 'Assist' anyone. It's either get welfare or once you pick up just a bit too many hours or pay, it's all taken away. So what does that instruct people to do? Work a little harder? Or don't work hard at all and sit back making more on the dole?
It takes pride and a conscience to avoid that little trap.

You kinda miss chatting with me, doncha?
Good call....... make it easy on yourself. It's not worth it tiring yourself out completely. Too stressful.
Hopefully you like the new place even better.
SELL all those tools! They're worth at least some money to somebody. Put it towards something for yourself. And you'll likely never need them anyway, right? I've got an Uncle that's hauled his tools and crap too many times, even back and forth to Montana. He's likely paid more to store them and move them than they're even worth. If it wasn't for my wife being so handy and refusing to let me sell them all, I'd have gotten rid of the last of mine withthe last move, too.
IF the kid don't claim 'em by your deadline, just sell them. If you want, put the money in an account for them. But hanging onto this stuff for decades is sorta sabotaging. I still am shocked at how many storage facilities I see all around me. Americans are seriously demented pack rats.
That's why I laugh at so many experts. They refuse to admit they're wrong. Too many of them have been around DC for decades and overlooking all of this failure.....but they're the experts? At what? Sucking?
People were stupid enough to vote for Obama......Twice.......even more stupid to vote for fading fast Biden and that detestable Harris. Look how many are actually shocked that prices have been going up and the spending is off the rails. They're surprised by any of this? WTH?

That's been exactly my point for years.
Even half-way decent people can be susceptible to abusing others once you give them power over others. THAT's why I have always wanted to avoid more and more Govt. It's as predictable as the sunrise.
It should always be kept at a bare minimum, otherwise it's bound to lead to abuse.

Those self serve kiosks you seem to like for eliminating human interactions are thanks to millennials. They grew up on the internet & really don't like personal contact. I remember a segment a decade back where the guy interviewed gushed over not having to talk to people to order his food & wished he didn't have to interact to get it, either. They want that Demolition Man no contact as much as possible. Dude, I was making minimum wage part time. My husband worked at a handicapped employer which means because they are allegedly unable to work as hard as other folk, Goodwill, etc can pay them less. He was getting half minimum wage. We applied for food stamps. I qualified for $10/MONTH. When they wanted.me to go back in to re-qualify 3 months later, I refused & they took it away. I didn't see how it was worth it. Because I refused to have kids without being able to pay for them. If I had kids, I would have qualified for more benefits. Because kids are.the future cogs. They need us to spit them out so there will be future workers.

You can blame millennials, sure. But isn't it also 'progress'? We older folks might not like it.......but if it works, it works.
They don't like personal contact......but they care so much about others and are gonna save the world? Ha ha ha
My wife used to employ a few of the 'Trainables' back in the day. It was yet another form of the welfare system. Employers had some of their wages paid for, so it was 'worth it' to hire them to do some menial jobs. Did it really make financial sense? NO. but it makes people feel better, so why not spend tax dollars on it?
It wasn't worth it because you're honest. Recently my co-workers have been bitching about seeing EBT balances in the $Thousands. You think that was ever on the table for you? Nope, but then you were not looking to cash in as much, you didn't wanna learn to exploit the system for all it's worth.
Exactly! Again, you had some sense of pride and a conscience. YOU are quickly being outnumbered by those who have no such qualms.
But what happens when those kids refuse to be the future workers? See how the math doesn't add up? We've kinda dug our own graves here.

Yeah, I probably should sell a bunch of the tools. I have a $10 tool thing I bought at Target years ago. A hammer. Couple screwdrivers. Pliers. Scissors. It's my go-to tools. Rarely need anything else. Also have a small set-box is a bit bigger than a cell phone with 6 or 8 small screwdrivers. They've filled out most of the rest of the need. Most of my furniture is old so it's like no big thing dumping it. Bunch of Ikea Billy bookshelves, but Ikea doesn't move well so I will just buy new. They're like $50. Good for holding books & dvds, but flimsy otherwise. Trashed a bunch of plastic. Good heavens, they pile up. Actually sleeping at the new place. Cats are glued to us. They've been living here since July 1, but seem so happy we aren't popping in to drop stuff off. Thor has been sleeping on my bed constantly. Dumping my fridge. My luck I move it & it konks out. My husband & I bought it so it's over 25 yrs old so it can't have much life left. My internet search suggested 20 yrs is the usual lifespan. The apartment has one. As I said, I was all set to go with McCain because I was pissed Hillary didn't get the nomination, but Sarah Palin was an insult to my gender, sorry. And McCain suspended his campaign, then came back...he seemed very erratic. "Bomb Iran" song...I reluctantly voted for Obama. Then Romney was one of those corporate raiders so hell, no way. Rand worked at Safeway when the raiders went after them so they had to buy back a bunch of stock so they sold off the SoCal stores to Vons (mid 80s). Rand left because he figured there was a Vons & a Safeway on the same street as the one he worked. Went to the university, but they laid him off seasonally like they did before (milk unemployment for a year...). But that's why I voted Obama twice. Less for him than against his opponents Dude, prices going up is the game. Shortages! So they can raise the price & not fill the shelves. Only stock the popular stuff, not the stuff that moves slower. I remember an article from the 90s? 80s? Where some tuna company cit the amount of tuna in a can because they claimed their customers said it was too much. They were throwing it away. REALLY? These customers never heard of Tupperware? No. The way to avoid raising price was to cut product size. They've been doing it for years. And this pandemic is allowing them to play the game. Why make 5 flavors of Pepsi? Just make regular & diet & claim supply Shortages have made Cherry & vanilla unavailable. But raise prices. Costs went up!

A lot of handicapped workers will work harder than the average able bodied person. My husband went on to doing a summer custodian training with Dept. Of Rehab & went one to get that Safeway job & the University, & the YMCA. Why was he only worth $1.45 to the workshop, yet made well over minimum wage a couple years later? I had experience with welfare as a kid. No way I wanted to put a child through that so yeah, the experience taught me not to do it. Yet Japan had battled low birth rate not providing enough worker for awhile now.

You've got the right idea. Stick with the few tools you need and can use. Sell the rest.
Stickerboard furniture is sooooo expensive now.....but you're right, it does not move well at all. You got a lotta books?
Fridges are weird. If they get unplugged or tipped.........they need to be stood up and left for awhile before plugging back in. At least most of them last for a decade or more, so even if you gotta get another one, you'll be fine.
I've heard a few people call that our endless 'Voting for the Lesser of Two Evils' system. There's a lotta truth to it. You don't think I was so awfully impressed with Trump before the election, do you? It was only after winning that I was pleasantly surprised he actually delivered on more than Reagan did, in my opinion. After 30+ years of GOP duds in DC.
But WE told you they'd do this. They'd demand $15/hr......and then the prices would go up even higher than those raises. Dems keep telling this lie that they're helping people, but it always backfires.
I hate how they do BOTH. Cut the size......AND raise the prices anyway. Either that or they stop making the few things that I like. Johnsonville just started offering these Sausage Strips that remind me of the olde Sizzlean, by the way! It's not quite as good as remembered, but it's not too shabby. Better value than bacon after cooking, too.
Are the Employees not playing along here, too? You can't get people to show up or even apply despite higher wages offered right now.
AGREED! MY Pepsi has only gone on sale twice since the covid shutdowns started. Ridiculous. They even claimed a shortage of aluminum was partly to blame. BS.

Agreed, some special types ARE more reliable/dependable than quite a few other people. Normally they do get rewarded for being so. But not when it's part of some Govt program that provides some of their wages.
You're like me in that regard. We learned what NOT to do from some of our earlier negative experiences. This is what's wrong with not allowing kids to ever feel anything ir negative or wrong in the first place, imo.
Japan has that issue.......and yet their Middle Class hasn't disappeared.....AND they have not been tempted to just fling open their borders to get in cheap help. They're choosing a slower decline than the US is opting for.

Dude, have I not mentioned 2000 volumes of manga & 2000 anime dvds? My sister was bitching about stores acting like 4/$11 12 pks is a great sale over the 4th. I'll have to check. I liked sizzelean Mom was on an eternal diet, always trimmed fat so I didn't grow up with a love of fat. I hate the feel of chicken fat on my fingers. I have been known to eat fried chicken with paper towels to protect the fingers.

I have broke down and bought it at 4/$11
See? We do have quite a few things in common. That stuff was DEE-Lish. Lemme know if you find the new stuff.
It's gristle I can't stand. That's why I actually prefer ground beef to steak
