Many vids on YouTube about this, and it makes sense.
Elon Musk believes it is. He likens 'reality' to one of those games like the Sims. Imagine if the Sims developed self-awareness. Or if someone created a game that is so realistic, we think it's real. The object of the 'game' is to find our way back to where we come from.

I think the whole proposition was started by people (not Peachy) who want to believe in a god but are simply too scared of the repercussions within their social group to say so. Instead they concoct a hi-tech scenario that offers a "superior being" AND fallibility. It's an intellectual and spiritual DP masturbatory fantasy.
