In my own home that is. I've worked with big juicers before.
Anyway... in my bid to be a little healthier and lose some weight, I bought a juicer online and it arrived yesterday. I went out last night to buy some fruits and veggies to start experimenting.
This morning's concoction: 1 medium apple 1 peach 1 nectarine 1 carrot 1 medium cucumber
Note to self: go lighter on the cucumber. It's a stronger flavor than you thought.
Now, if I can just resist the urge to go out and buy vodka....
Anyone else make their own juice?

I can already feel those good, good nutrients and vitamins that I don't regularly get coursing though my body! And now I'm thinking of the exercise I'm going to get by standing at the sink washing that sucker.

Sorry mate, you lost me on the carrot and especially the cucumber. A mate I went to school with was staying with a girl we'd also gone to school with. One morning he got up, got ready for work and made a lunch for himself... a cucumber sandwich. It wasn't until he got home that night that he discovered that the cucumber wasn't meant to eaten, as it had other "functions".

I'm slowly getting better at this. My fruit and veggie combinations are becoming a tad more... sophisticated.

Heading for bed, but I just remembered this little tip:
Fresh ginger
A friend suggested adding a "thumb tip" of fresh ginger to my juices, and it was a goooood suggestion. It adds a nice "zip" and the health benefits of ginger are non-negotiable.
I'm thinking of using the juicer as a bit of a "processor" to whip up some "belly fat burning" recipes.
Good night!

Whenever I hear that it's usually accompanied by a quick slap.
