Ariz. Teen Didn't Return After Night Out with Friends, Was Found Slain in Car 2 Days LaterItzel Espinoza was reported missing to police when she didn't come home Thursday, her father said By Jeff Truesdel lJuly 06, 2021 04:18 PM On Thursday, 17-year-old Itzel Espinoza left her Phoenix home to go out with friends. At 5:30 a.m. Saturday, police responding to a report of a shooting found the seated teen dead inside a car parked in an alley. Neither police nor her parents know what happened in between. Her mother, Elizabeth Diaz, addressed her late daughter in a GoFundMe appeal for help with funeral costs: "Until we meet again my angel." In a news release, police said a 911 caller reported seeing a female in the vehicle and observed that it appeared she'd been shot. First responders declared Itzel dead at the scene. Police who are treating the case as a homicide did not reveal any other details. "This is an ongoing investigation and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Phoenix Police Department or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS," police spokesperson Sgt. Mercedes Fortune said in an emailed statement to PEOPLE. Itzel's father, Eduardo Espinoza, said that he and his wife reported the teen missing to police when she did not return home Thursday, reports AZFamily.com. He said the rising high school senior recently had been spending time with friends who did not have her parents' approval. Itzel aspired to be a model and social media influencer, her father told the outlet, while he emphasized her academic studies. She was "a character, she was funny," he said. "She was good people to be around." "All young girls and all young adults out there, your parents care for you," he said, according to AZFamily.com. "They want the best for you. They want you to be a teenager, enjoy your best years. Go out and have fun but have a limit, you know. Come home." The hardest part now, he said, is "knowing she's never coming back."

More life guards? I'm sure that you don't have a problem with this.
She exercised her freedom and ended up dead.
+1 for freedom
+1 for a lower population
and I'm sure that you're OK with a +1 for one less LatinX person

You're sorely mistaken.
Children shouldn't have that much freedom.
A young life cut short like that is a tragedy.......no matter their genetic background. WTF is wrong with you?
Now in a completely benign way, I can still be in favor of population control.

Sorry, Abs. Your antagonism towards LatinX people, especially in border areas and your strongly worded expressions for severe punishment of same, leaves me no choice but to see it that way.
WTF is wrong with me is that I read what you say and reach conclusions along the only avenue you have left open.
Based on what you say, I conclude that:
LatinX people are stealing jobs and welfare and need to be punished.
Black people are violent criminals, stealing welfare, and need to be punished.
Asian people tried to kill us with Covid (even though it's "not that bad") and need to be punished.
Anyone in the government who doesn't see things your way need to be punished.
You may not mean those things, but that's how you read most times.
Say what you mean or I'm just going to continue to think you mean what you say.

Illegal Latin people, just like Illegal blacks, caucasian and asian people steal jobs from Americans. There's the difference you're ignoring.
Violent criminals that steal welfare come from all ethnic groups.
The Govt of China is responsible for the lab and virus escape......not the people of China. Again, there's the difference. And I'm under no illusions that the US Govt had a hand in it or is funding similar activities somewhere, somehow.

1. And yet you never mention any group other than the ones at the Southern Border.
2. They do indeed. Maybe one day you'll talk about lazy, white rednecks instead of POC in the inner-cities for once.
3. But you're upset for "the left" politicizing the pandemic, right?
Like I said, Abs: say what you mean or I'm going to think that you mean what you say.

1. At the Southern border wouldn't that just be anecdotal stories? How often do I need to find examples of non-Hispanic people to reassure you on this subject? It may be tough since the VAST majority of people coming into the country illegally are coming from countries to our south. Is that my fault? or the fault of the people that were born there?
2. They don't even need to be rednecks. Whites account for more of the welfare roles than anyone else in the US, no? Do you actually believe I say to myself "Oh, it's OK with me when it's pale people."?
3. What's so political about what China got up to? It affected ALL citizens of the US. About the only thing political about it is how differently people feel about how it should have been handled.......and even more so going forward.
Maybe just limit it to Yes or No responses for me from now on?

Maybe just limit it to Yes or No responses for me from now on? 1. Maybe you should look up the history of US involvement with countries to our south. We ousted legitimate governments, installed dictators, and allowed drug cartels to take over many of those countries. Our response? A "war" on drugs that focused on inner-city populations in the US rather than trying to fix the countries that we fucked up in the first place and now we're upset that the victims WE created are coming here for help?
I know that we don't have all the help that they need nor the resources to support them, but don't tell me that it's all their own fault. Should they rise up against their oppressors? How? With what? 2. It would be nice if you mentioned them once in a while so that I get the notion that you're not OK with it. 3. "Chinese Flu"; "Kung Flu"; attacking Asians wearing masks; conspiracy theories; "The Chinese lied/weren't transparent!" Yeah. The "right" didn't try to politicize a damn thing.
