After seeing a few documentaries in the last few months, I gotta say the US system doesn't look nearly as dysfunctional as claimed.

Seems like something as simple as "She turned me into a newt!" would be enough to get a conviction in some places still today. Isn't science? and physical evidence a globally recognized requirement?
