Fox News Planned Parenthood flyers given to 8th graders informs students they can get abortion without parental consentCaitlin McFall Sat, June 26, 2021, 8:17 PM Middle school students in Tacoma, Wash. were given a flyer detailing their legal rights on sex-based issues, including their ability to get an abortion without informing their parents. The flyer distributed by an 8th-grade teacher at Stewart Middle School frustrated some parents who thought the subject matter was inappropriate. The school has since apologized and said the document was put together by Planned Parenthood, not the individual teacher. PARENTS OF NYC ELITE PREP SCHOOL FUMING OVER SEX-ED CLASSES FOR 1ST GRADERS The pamphlet informed students about which age groups they were allowed to have sex with, detailing that "it is not a crime" if a child is 11-years old and has "sex with somebody 2 years older or less."The document detailed the legal parameters in which students can engage in sexual behavior between the ages of 11 to 18. Students were also told, "You can buy condoms at any age" and that Plan B Emergency Contraception can be purchased "at a local pharmacy without prescription at any age." "The flyer is not part of our curriculum and should not have been sent home with students," Assistant Director of Secondary Education Eric Hogan said in a letter to a concerned parent, first reported the Jason Rantz Show. "Previously, Planned Parenthood taught within our schools and supplied the flyer that was distributed to students," Hogan wrote. "We discovered a binder of curriculum materials was left behind for an incoming teacher to use for this year, and this flyer was in the binder. Not realizing the flyer wasn’t approved material, the teacher sent it home with students." The school said it has removed any "unapproved materials" and informed teachers and administrators to ensure this flyer is not distributed again in the future. "Corrective action has been taken with this employee," Hogan said, apologizing on behalf of the school and district.
Keep it on the DL, right?

Google can provide all the facts needed for sexual congress.
Got any grandkids yet? What age do you feel they should be shown them all?

1. The same facts that the kids can't access due to parental controls?
2. Not yet. My daughter's getting married in 2022 and she and her fiance aren't planning to have kids until after that.
I think kids should learn the basics of human reproduction and sexuality no later than the 6th grade (11 to 12 years old). They're going to start experimenting anyway so it's better for them to have all the facts.

Absolutely...... I can completely agree with that. You wanna get them the pertinent information before the juices start fully flowing.
But a flyer explaining how best to lie to your parents? keep secrets? make a decision on an abortion without involving them? You'd be OK with that from your own kid? Or anyone else's for that matter?
And I became more suspect as it was explained it was something meant to kept in the schools........and not sent home with the kids? So they're lying and keeping secrets from the people paying for the whole process, too? Gee, thanks?

Better she have an abortion that I don't know about than to have her expect me to take care of a baby while she finishes school.
Maybe if so many parents weren't such hypocritical scumbags, there'd be no need to hide... and probably nothing to hide.
Hiding is a function of shame. If there's no shame, there's no hiding.

Hiding is a function of shame. If there's no shame, there's no hiding.
And if there is no shame, then there is likely no accountability, as well.
Lotsa people have no shame these days.......and they should. You believe I should

YOU should be ashamed for being a racist nationalist but I'm talking (ON TOPIC) about the shame so many associate with sex and sexuality.
I see Evangelicals denouncing Muslims for "honor killing" their daughters while forcing their own daughters to be so modest they might as well be wearing burqas, all the while hoping their own predilections don't become public knowledge.
I see people who think they can pray the gay away then head off to the nearest rest stop for a little foot tapping.
Jesus Herschel Fucking Christ. Stop trying to introduce bullshit into the discussion.
The shame of cheating on a test is waaaaay fucking different from the shame of wanting to suck dick rather than lick pussy... or vice versa.
The fact that you feel the need to introduce logical fallacies every time you're confronted with reason just makes you look like a man with a paper asshole.

Better she be forced to be modest than tossed off a building or set on fire?
I'm a nationalist......but not a racist. But you keep throwing that out there, Barack. It makes you seem so much more correct and intellectual.

You need to like him in order to be compared to him as someone who throws the race card out there every 3 seconds?

I still don't know - or care - who she is, but I don't call you a racist because you disagree with me. I call you a racist because you make racist statements.

I think the supposedly "woke" people are more racist than you. You really need to sharpen those logic skills....

Well, you sure don't act like that's the case when you're addressing me.
That's sorta been my whole point.......... it's the very rare person that doesn't have some latent stereotyping going on in their subconscious.
But compared to most on this planet? I think I'm pretty Equal Opportunity when it comes to skin color. I just don't like most people, especially in large groups. And the disliking has nothing to do with their hue.

I think the "woke" ones are simply to scared to engage me. They are way more comfortable with voicing their displeasure rather than arguing the point (which they realize is illogical) and then they leave... or ban me, depending on the site.
To be "woke" you are expected to buy into the WHOLE program. You have to agree to and repeat all of the talking points, some of which are bullshit, such as the 13% thing I talked about elsewhere. I don't argue that systematic racism is an issue that needs to be confronted, but I don't believe that every incident involving a black person is evidence of it nor do I agree with much of the "proof" that accompanies such arguments.
They can't understand the concept of being sympathetic to the cause but suspicious of the arguments.
That notion is at the very heart of my opposition to CRT.

Weird........ I just had a similar conversation with someone about how often the woke Left refuses to even engage ........because they know it's illogical.
Was it much different with 'Global Warming'? There was no room for discussion or skepticism anymore or wanting to have firmer numbers. Either you agreed...... or else.
Absolutely......it can be discussed. It can be agreed upon that the US has had many issues and history shows slavery and abuse. But where's the context there? The REST of the world. perhaps? Even today in some areas. Even the founding of the US.........if they won't even acknowledge that many of the founders put into place a means to an end, so to completely dismiss the founding of the country and all it's Constitution has guaranteed and paved the way for is really ignoring again the rest of the planet.
There's a big part of my problem....... I'm about all out of sympathy. Empathy? I got to some degree.

You have to buy the whole program: lock, stock, and barrel. Any skepticism - even if you're on board with the basic premise - will result in being called, "anti-science" or "denier."
