2. Not if it means putting words in my mouth
3. So... we're no longer talking about American racists?
Out of the over 7 Billion on the planet........what percentage would you guess doesn't hold some stereotypical or racist views in any way?
I keep telling you and you keep refusing to believe it....... but I truly do not understand that thinking at all. Skin color? Parentage? Even anti-Semitism? I can not figure out how or why people cling to such nonsense. All I've ever been able to come up with is it somehow makes them feel better about their own selves in some sick and twisted way.
It's really making me laugfh and roll my eyes at the suggestion that the US is somehow much, much worse than other areas of the planet.......aren't we the Melting Pot? Don't we have tons of different races and nationalities? Haven't we been preaching tolerance, acceptance and assimilation for many, many decades? Meanwhile tons of countries are much less integrated......and certainly not welcoming to all.
1. A lot. Doesn't mean it's OK
2. I've already explained it
3. I'm not saying the US is worse. I'm saying that it shouldn't be as bad. I'm saying that we can and should be better. The idea of the United States was to represent the promise that the diverse people of a nation could truly come together and govern themselves. It has taken a long time to advance this far but we are stagnating. We're supposed to be the "shining city on a hill" not some shack in a bayou.

1. Isn't that pretty much the same points I make about humanity? Lots of things many of them do is not OK. Doesn't mean it's ever going to change for all of my wishful hoping. You still decided to not place a guess/percentage on it.
2. I find it inconsistent. But you feel free to keep calling me a liar.
3. So where's Utopia? WE can all do better......but most don't. Too funny, govern themselves? While you promote more Govt all the time? Call anyone suggesting smaller govt a racist? What if that shack in a bayou is preferable to a studio in a highrise? The American Dream is alive in spirit but it's also a pretty subjective and individualistic thing. There's a reason millions still wanna come here. And many of those that do succeed better than the millions of Americans that insist it can't be done.

1. No. It's not the same thing
2. It's not and I just might
3. Yes. Govern ourselves: a government of the people.
You might want to invest in a civics or history class at your local community college

Govern ourselves? By having more and more Govt ruling from afar?
Sorry, I don't see as that was how it was intended........but then the Red Scare failed to root out all the defective thinkers.

What was intended is that the people choose their representatives. If you don't like how they are doing it, you can vote for someone else.
I suggest voting for people who will abolish lobbying.

Your best bet is to hire a strong lobbying firm to get that passed
