Yesterday this is the sandwich I made for lunch:
I took two slices of rye bread, spread mayo on each side. I layered the following: thinly sliced salami, thinly sliced purple onion, thinly sliced tomato, thinly sliced cucumber, thinly sliced black olives, then topped it with thinly sliced avocado. I sprinkled the tomato and avocado with pink Himalayan salt. It was pretty good. I might have it again today.

I just had my first takeaway meal in over a year... A large Hawaiian pizza and 10 chicken wings covered in BBQ sauce from Domino's Pizza, along with an icy cold cola drink. Fucking glorious... but now I want something sweet for dessert.  |

Homemade spaghetti Bolognese... the hot and spicy edition, with plenty of Parmesan cheese on top and a cheap, but robust and spicy ginger beer as a cooling agent. It was perfectly balanced... as I finished the last couple of mouthfuls, light perspiration broke out on my forehead, under my eyes and around the base of my neck. My mouth is currently mildly numb and loud rumblings are emanating from my stomach... ah, bliss! This is why I enjoy living alone. PS - Hurry up with those Jesus bars! |
