I once played God in a school play... and got to kick my English teacher in the arse. For the rest of the play, all I had to do was sit there and play with a Rubik's cube. That was one of the few highlights of my school years. I bet Sir Lawrence Olivier was jealous. |

He was a bit too wholesome 
I liked those God movies as a kid........they were kinda funny.
But I've never had the urge to seek them out on Dvd

1.  2. I only ever saw the first one, but I saw the others in video shops at some point. 3. I suppose if I came across a reasonably priced DVD set, I might grab it just for old times' sake. |

Let us say for the sake of argument that there is only one true God. My question would be, if there is...should one worship him? This God doesn't give a damn and shows monstrous apathy.
Apparently he "gave" his only son for "our" sins. Our sins? Does the potter blame the pot if it is cracked? Who created human nature? Did this omnipotent God not comprehend how we would behave? What if God enjoys our collective suffering and deems it as no more than entertainment?
Could it be that this is our sole purpose? Where was he when Jews were being loaded into the gas chambers? Where is he in Ukraine? Why should I worship such a God?

I need to be careful here. First off I am a gentile. But to make a joke of the Holocaust is beyond the pale. But then again you made light of people's needs to visit their loved ones in cemeteries.
