Some boards would be better off without an active administrator ... let ProBoards deal with reports of obvious TOS violations on a case by case basis.

Having an Admin who is a sex crazed show off who shows favoritism to other showoffs (sex crazed or otherwise) or an administrator who bans because he can for "any reason or no reason" (as Pro Boards so eloquently puts it) is worse than no admin activity at all.

OBVIOUSLY not referring to the missing current admin on this board or his predecessor.

A board can work IF people will post to threads that are started or start threads of their own.
To avoid the area because a disgruntled troll might crawl out from under his rock, is to let that troll control the board.
