ant-mac gardengirl1953 @foxy Dracula ❤️ Molly ❤️ mr_self bartlesby tommyrockarolla fetzerzinfandel Happy New Year, all. I think I tagged everyone with an account here. I just wanted to make sure I say a quick I ❤️ you for the start of a new year and a new chapter. Not sure everyone I tagged will see this, but it's here New Year's Eve/Day has always been a very symbolic holiday for me. It's about reflection and hope. I think about the last year and where I fell short and where I succeeded, what I'm grateful for, and how I can do better in the up-coming year. I always buy roses, in the color to symbolize the blessing I want, one for each month of the new year. Last year they were red, because in addition to love, red roses symbolize. courage. This year the roses are orange. Orange roses symbolizes enthusiasm, passion, and desire. These are all things I need to cultivate in my life, for my life, in 2024. In many ways it feels like I've given up. There's a dark cloud of melancholy that has become a part of my personal landscape. I stopped fighting it. That needs to change. Life is meant to to be lived, not for merely existing. I don't have resolutions this year. I just have a mission statement. It's easy and to the point: "Do Better" One of the the things I am grateful for from the last year is the company of you fine people on our little corner of the net. I appreciate the smiles and the debate and the ears letting me vent. Thank you My prior NYE plans fell through. It was a combination of prior vacation plans combined with my own exhaustion. I'm fine with it. I'd rather be home with my mom. I might not have the chance next year. That said, mom will be asleep before midnight, lol. If anyone is like me and staying in tonight, I'll be watching The Age Of Adeline and drinking pink champagne, if you'd like to join me May you all have enthusiasm, passion, and desire in 2024 ❤️ Happy New Year!

What you said that I emphasized in larger bold, that's what I love to see from you, and that said, below are your instructions for 2024 and beyond from my boy Marc Anthony. Love ya and Happy New Year to you and your mom and family.

A beautiful image, and lovely sentiments, too! I, too, deal with a dark cloud of melancholy, especially during the holidays, and I am hoping that it lifts a bit more this year. I am improving my diet to include more healthy food and supplementing with vitamins, in hopes that it will improve my attitude and energy level. I am changing my primary care doctor, and looking for a doctor closer to my home and one that understands my expectations better than the one I selected when my long-time internist retired a few years ago. I'm glad you are maximizing the time you have with your mother; you are a good daughter! I am trying to minimize the distress I feel about the state of the world and the political stuff going on right now in the US. I have no control over the presidential election, I live in a blood red state, but I will still vote to contribute to popular vote. All I can do is hope for the best. I hope you are having a good New Year's Day; I had a quiet night with my companion animals, and they are napping, now!

Happy New Year!
Hope it was a good one (I can relate with your mom not being up… my dad woke up at around 10:02p (we always celebrate the new year when it’s midnight in NY anyways) and swiftly went back to sleep. Lol)
I hope you’ll come back to v1. It’s been a lot better without every thread being about Israel/Gaza. Tho I’ve been in a mood for a few weeks now and haven’t posted/liked a post since before Christmas. But everyone misses you.
My New Years so far? Let’s see… I stepped in cat vomit twice, one of my cats shit all over my pants that had fallen onto the floor, and I got shit all over my hands, all I did Monday was sleep, and today I was in the mood for a cup of coffee and my keurig decided it was a great time to break down (I haven’t used it in a couple of months).
Everything is going swimmingly!
But I got to spend another NYE with my dad and 2 cats, and that’s all that really matters.
❤️ ya.

[img alt=" " src="//storage.proboards.com/7182076/images/obFdBtVYBQlmzUabuRUD.png" class="smile"] Chinese New Year deserves its own thread! I will make one, but will give you dibs on the honor since you drew attention to it.
