So, it would appear that ProBoards is having technical issues and a number of their forums are currently inaccessible.
Any ideas what the problem is this time?

Hi, Ant-Mac.
Thank God I'm not the only one.
Both 1 and 2 are down, but that seems to go along with what you're saying about a number of forums being down.
So hopefully it's not confined to 1.
Thank God also that one of ours told us -- new to me -- about meeting up here just in case.
Otherwise I wouldn't have known where to go.
Hopefully 1 will be back online tomorrow.

Jill's forum, RIVE GAUCHE is also down.
However, another ProBoards forum devoted to horror books, film, TV and so on is still up.
So the service failure all seems rather focused, just like last time.

So when you say focused, you mean like focused maintenance?
Like only a few or certain sites need maintenance for whatever reason?

So when you say focused, you mean like focused maintenance? Like only a few or certain sites need maintenance for whatever reason? I'm not entirely sure, but it seems like the same group of forums that suffered an outage this time is the same - or similar to - the same group of forums that suffered an outage last time. I read on PROBOARDS SUPPORT that it could be a failure of the server or servers that service those particular forums. However, there might not currently be any staff online to deal with the issue...

Okay, that seems sensible. Glad that's all that is. If indeed that's all that is.

I don't really know, but it seems that either some servers become more overloaded than others, or perhaps some servers are simply more faulty. Either way, it's obvious that they should be using a bigger hammer to solve the problem!

He could clear some of that crap out of there, and inform some of the bigger offenders that they are using up available band width. There could be minor bans, like a week, for blathering senselessly! Yeah, I know, dreams are free, lol!
