One Tweetiot - or do we just call them "twits" - said there was a "lot to unpack" in his post. Yeah a lot to twist into something more nefarious so that you can justify your hatred of another group that happens to be getting EQUAL media attention for once.
People who are perpetually offended need to seek out a professional mental health expert.

you could just guess and give your impression.......... I ain't grading your answers
Jan 01, 2020 · In 2018, there were approximately 102,000 active doctoral-level licensed psychologists in the United States—about 31.3 licensed psychologists per 100,000 people. 1. California (16,900), New York (13,470) and Massachusetts (5,660) had the most licensed psychologists, while South Dakota (160), Wyoming (170) and Alaska (170) had the fewest.

Have you considered how many more psychologists would be in those areas if people were just willing to admit they needed help? You also have to take population densities into consideration. Oh, and just because a state has a high number of psychologists doesn't mean they have a highest number of patients unless you assume that each and every resident is seeking help. I'm guessing there are plenty of uber-expensive psychologists working the Hollywood area that have relatively few clients compared to some guy in Barstow, for example.
But if you do think that one number being high is equal to another being high then I suggest that you run the per-capita numbers.

I could argue hte predators simply go where the prey usually is? .......but it seems like an area ripe for stat picking either way.
Back to the OP......... have we gone so far that even the homeless are not allowed to be mocked or lampooned? or rappers?

I doubt there would be any "backlash" if Marshall Mathers was the one being lampooned.

That reminds me of a piece I saw on Robert DeNiro recently
His lawyer is claiming his ex-wife is forcing the late 70s actor to work a grueling schedule in order to keep her 'in the lifestyle to which she's become accustomed"
I'm not nearly as busted up about that as I was about Tiger Woods or Jeff Bezos

Racist... against the pigeon? FFS, we're young and stupid for a reason... to learn and mature. We all make mistakes along the way, but so long as we don't kill, rape or vote Republican, what's the harm? When I was young and someone said something nasty or objectionable that we didn't like, you know what we did? We got over it.

But now we're supposed to stop and take stock of every word and our tone of voice and posture lest we make some so-called adult cry.
My daughter is going to be getting married next year (if there's a venue) and my biggest worry isn't about travel arrangements or anything like that, but about having to deal with a bunch of Moronnials at the reception. I want to have fun and dance and sing, not worry about some off-the-cuff comment causing a a row, but as the father of the bride, I'll be the "old white guy" under more scrutiny than most.
,sigh.

1. Yeah, walking on eggshell was never this difficult... now they come pre-broken. 2. Congratulations, mate, to both you and the apple of your eye! I hope it all works out for the happy couple. After 2020, we could all use a lucky break. I'm sure if you're your normal, charming self, what could go wrong? However, just in case, it might be wise to have the police, the ambulance and the fire department on speed dial.

2. Thanks. The plan was for a 2021 wedding, but Covid has pushed it to at least 2022.
I'm always charming, but these days every little thing is viewed with suspicion and parsed for "micro-aggressions" and whatnot so I'm not sure "charming" will work.
The other thing that worries me is having so much fun that I end up on Fail Army "Father of the Bride" Edition. Maybe I should just have the "first responders" waiting in the parking lot....

1. And then they'll blame us for getting blood everywhere. 2. Yeah, COVID has been a spanner in the works for everyone. The process for overcoming it is still in its early days, but with any luck we'll be in a much better position by next year. 3. Just remember, dancing with your dick out and waving about in the wind will probably be frowned upon as a "micro-aggression"... 4. If so, can I have your autograph? 5. That'd probably save time... And if you make sure they get a beer and a slice of wedding cake, they'll probably go easier on you later.

The "Hokey" part is fine, but consult a lawyer before you proceed with the "Pokey" part. These days, unfortunately, you can never be too careful.
