- Open your forums dashboard (use the Switch Forum icon on this forum)
- Click on the Accounts Link and select Account Settings
- Near the bottom of the page find the Export Member Data line and click on Export
- In the dropdown box, select imdb2.freeforums.net
- Click the Submit button
After Proboards processes your request, you'll receive an email with a link to a zip file which includes all data related to your account. And that really is everything, from Bookmarks to User Settings. The files are in cvs format and can be opened with any word processor or spreadsheet program. Probably the one of most interest is Post.cvs. The file is extremely messy, with lots of BBCode markup and message id information. Nevertheless, all the content you created can be extracted, though you'll need to put in considerable effort. There are BBCode editors available you could use to make the process somewhat easier. Note this does not include any content created by other people.

I guess all my brilliant posts will have to pass into oblivion, lost forever... Oh, well... I forget a fair amount of stuff already (are my keys in the refrigerator?) so soon I will be happily ignorant. More time to pet the kitties!

The Switch Forum icon is in the lower right hand corner. If you're using a phone or tablet, you have to change to Desktop Mode to see it.

Thank you for the heads up Catman. I don't consider my time on the politics board a great contribution to anything, though, lol. I mostly just shitposted.
