Hello, Me, I miss Prometheus, too...

That V1 board is a bit - well, a lot - nuts, and this board is a quiet, accepting place to be, especially when the other place is on full tilt.

I come here every day or two, ant-mac and I share jokes and funny internet stuff, and we would love to have another good poster to share with.  We can even talk about serious stuff. And at this time, there are no active trolls, so it's a congenial place to be, to share thoughts on the state of the world.

I am truly sad about the wildfires in Hawaii, I've been to Maui several times in my life, and been in Lahaina under that wonderful banyan tree. Climate change is a reality, and I don't understand those that don't see it.  There are so many beautiful places in this world, and I would hate to see them ruined, and so many animals and trees lost.

USA politics is just nuts, but can be discussed in a civil, informative manner.

This really is a good board; I wish a few actual members would come back from V1 from time to time.
