Joy Behar rips ‘heterosexual men’ for supporting tackle footballStory by Fox News • Yesterday 2:10 PM “The View” co-host Joy Behar hit conservatives and heterosexual men on Wednesday for their support of tackle football. “45% of Americans think that tackle football is appropriate. Heterosexual men voted the most support for kids doing football. And conservatives were more likely to support youth tackle football. Just saying,” Behar said with disdain. The hosts were discussing Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin, who collapsed during a game Monday night and suffered cardiac arrest, and renewed calls for the NFL to make safety a top priority. Co-host Sunny Hostin told a story about her son, who suffered from a hamstring injury while playing football. “He realized at that point, uh-oh. I could – that could happen to my brain, and so he quit,” Hostin explained.

The View has out-lived its usefulness, literally, its creator. It's now gotten desperate so the hosts just say outrageous shit to try and get it attention. Does anyone care what Joy Behar thinks about football, let alone heterosexual men? She's an 80-year-old yenta. Sit the fuck down.

I realize this is likely one more thing we'll disagree on.........but as much as I respect rugby players and believe they are actually more rough and harder hitting than current NFL players..........but I can just tell you from experience playing very rough football from about the age of 10.........and then later graduating into playing with a helmet and pads.......... We hit a LOT harder with pads on than we'd ever dare to without.
I made that mistake not too long after high school with a pick up game. I nearly sent myself to the hospital with the first hit I delivered.

You should've seen things before the football authorities introduced the blood rule, meaning that any player with visible blood must leave the field for treatment. There was claret and broken bones everywhere. And no helmets or pads anywhere in sight.  |
