She told The Times of London that "you could not tell a Jew on a street" but you "could find me."
Golberg made similar comments in January before being temporarily suspended from "The View."
Will she get a pass (passover) because of her surname?

Will she get a pass (passover) because of her surname? I'm pretty sure her surname is "Johnson."
I'm sure that Whoopi's experience as a black woman in America has narrowed her concept of the definition of "race."
I understand it but I cannot excuse it, especially when she hosts a political commentary show. I think it behooves her to be better-educated on the topics at hand or to shut up about them.

Will she get a pass (passover) because of her surname? I worked with a gal in the 80s who said this. That being a Jew was a choice & they could stop being a Jew. It was just a religion. Victimhood. Lack of compassion No one has it worse than black people as far as some black people are concerned. I tried to get the coworker to understand that Jews saw themselves as Jews, that they couldn't just walk away from being a Jew, but her victimhood as a black person overruled any compassion for what the Jews suffered in their History. Blacks were slaves which was the worst thing ever. Jews could have avoided being slaves or the Holocaust by quitting their religion. You can't argue with those people. Their victimhood is their identity.

So she was unaware of the 2 states of being a Jew? Interesting
Did I ever tell you about the Jewish gal I knew that saw a bumper sticker that read "My boss was a Jewish carpenter".......and after being informed it was a reference to Jesus, she scoffed and stated "They didn't have carpeting back then!"
THAT's the part that sticks with me, too. IF we've been striving for decades to just understand that we're ALL humans, no better no worse, barely any differences....... then how could anyone have a monopoly on suffering or victimization? People suck and have sucked forever.....especially around other people.
Was just watching a historical piece on Spain and it's capture by Muslims ........and then retaking by Christians. Which led to Jews being forced to convert......and even after converting being abused.
It's a magical forever excuse card. Nothing is ever your own fault if you're a victim.

My point being if you have been a victim (which we all have), you shod be able to have compassion & understand others can also be victims You can't be all about being a victim to the exclusion that others have been victims. That should give you compassion for them

I have plenty of compassion for children and the mentally handicapped. But the rest of so called Adults? Really? You expect far too much from me.
And without this expectation that adults behave accordingly.......we end up with the worsening situation we currently find ourselves in.
