To be honest, I'm not sure I'd have noticed if it hadn't been pointed out to me.
And normally, I'd write it off as some sort of weird coincidence, but...
Considering the poisonous political shit show your country has become - due to the actions of extremists on both sides of the political aisle - I'm not so sure.

I don't even WANT to see what would happen if this trend continues, and it may very well continue. I have honestly looked at places in Europe that I could move to, if things come to an open battle here. I would hate to leave my home, I have deep roots, but... who knows. A solar flare or infectious disease may change the entire scenario. I have never felt this sense of dread more strongly, even during the years that Bush was president. Quokka refers to it as "impending doom." That sounds about right. No 'religious' end of times, just humans overcrowded and out of control. |

it was probably a longtime union employee........that went out the night before, got hammered..........and then called in sickle

I don't think we are going to have a civil war. Charles Manson's Helter Skelter was meant to start a race war. He & his family were going to hide in the desert until it all blew over. Charlie believed the blacks would win, but upon winning be unable to run things so he & his family would appear to save them by being their benevolent rulers. So this whole race war some keep trying to start is old. We need a fricken class war but that isn't happening. Too many worship the rich here. |

Yes, especially since race relations, on an individual level, are better than they've ever been. Hence all of the mixed race children born these days. How often have I joked eventually we'll all be one shade........then we can kill each other over something really important, like religion. 
You've got plenty thinking that way............the problem is they're a buncha lazy Fs who can't be bothered to do very much for themselves in the first place.

That unfocused thing? Hell, no. Once in awhile I could see something after too much work not focusing on the picture to see the picture. This crossword if one focused on the center is a swastika. However, it is a crossword puzzle so my gaze goes to the top where I would normally start the puzzle. But isn't that like Obama "making" race reactions worse because his being a black man in the highest office pissed off some people? You still have people who get pissed off at interracial couples. Like the the Asians getting attacked. |

Only if you believe the Democratic Party's narrative that there are that many people who even give a shit anymore. This IS the same country that elected him in the first place.
