Growing up without a father is extremely difficult. I know this because I am 31 years old and I have no idea who my biological father is. My mom did a great job as a single mom I love her very much, but there will always be a piece of me missing, a mystery unsolved, a whole 50% of you that you don't know or understand. It hurts pretty bad. I attempted to find my father a few years ago, but was met with unfavorable results so I made peace with it. I have issues with my step dad as well that I won't get into and he is a good enough guy, but there will always be that force in my body that says he isn't my father. Growing up without a father will always be my biggest flaw and weakness. Maybe that is my fault either way it's hard and it is not a fate that I would ever bestow upon another human being.

Unexpected pregnancy? I mean, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that whatever happened leading up to that pregnancy was the thing that normally happens before a woman gets pregnant. And if that is indeed the case, you can pretty much expect a pregnancy.

I hope she learns to put down the phone and stop seeking shallow validation from strangers. She's going to be in for a rude awakening when that very demanding first year or two of parenthood requires her to essentially put her personal life and "personal brand" aside. But then again, if you're a privileged influencer, there's likely a lot of resources available to use as a golden parachute. This lady is having her infant stand on the edge of a sink while she focuses on taking a selfie. This is a trainwreck and horrific accident waiting to happen. She can enjoy "vibing" while CPS investigates if she ever has an accident with her kid and gets hospitalized. Put down the phone!

No it's not, it's the very same only when you make irresponsible decisions, you reap what you sow. She's lucky that's all she got was pregnant. And that should be the message instead of "everyone's journey is different".

You make no mention of the guy whatsoever. Did you tell him and he denied it? Does he even know? If he doesn’t. not only should this women not be praised, she should realize she just made her kids life a lot harder because she cut the other parental figure out of their life. Having unprotected sex and having and “accidental pregnancy” is like touching a stove and getting “accidentally burned”. Stop making these people seem like courages figures because they made a string of bad decisions and decided to do the adult thing and live with it.

I would never want to be a single parent. That means I failed at selecting an appropriate loving and worth while partner or failed at appropriate contraception. Children born to single mothers don't fare as well as those in a 2 parent loving home.

I dont get it. Does the guy even know? I feel like the man's perspective is being left out and I feel like he has the right to know. If he doesnt want to be a part of the child's life then I am glad she is choosing to be a single mother... But if the guy doesnt know and she just chooses being a single mother without telling him... Thats kinda messed up.

There are single mothers, and there are 'single' mothers. Being a legitimately single father, in that I get no support, or breaks ("mom" decided not to follow court orders), I have to question which she is. Let's have all the details about dad. Did she bother telling him. Did she clear the FL move with him. If he knows, does she allow him liberal access to their child. Is she being propped up with child support. Those sorts of things. Don't get me wrong, I have immense respect for single mothers. But if she intentionally withheld info from the father, or told him then had JDR erase him, that's something I cannot get behind. Moreover, if she's collecting child support and/or dad has ample access (not sure how given the geospatial difference), then she's not a single mother, she's a 'single' mother. She has supports, she's just not romantically involved with them, she's a mom who happens to be single. That sort, we need to stop celebrating, they're doing absolutely nothing to deserve it.
