I heard a fella on the radio exclaiming that no conservative should be supporting the legalization of drugs.
I'm sorry, where does that align with the overall view of less govt and people minding their own business? Bootstraps stop at drug use?

It doesn't align with the overall view of less government, but it aligns pretty well with the overall view of rounding up as many black and brown people as possible to get them off the streets and make America white again. |

It doesn't align with the overall view of less government, but it aligns pretty well with the overall view of rounding up as many black and brown people as possible to get them off the streets and make America white again.

I know you're in China......but that's sorta how I feel when I get accused of being fed my views, too. My opinions really haven't changed over the years and FOX News has not been something tuned into my home very often at all. Heck, most of the hardcore Lefties on Imdb2 likely watch it tons more than I ever have.

I suspect that they have public school educations as well, then topped it off with a degree in "permanent offendness" or whatever else those weird Liberal Art courses are called.

Unfortunately, dragging on the useless drug war is one area where the moderate cons and libs agree (as well as real war, but that's another bs problem). I think the idea of a hedonistic free for all scares these people more than the actual facts. Inevitably, some Helen Lovejoy drags in kids for their nonsense argument.
Ending it has nothing but upsides. Reduced incarceration, fewer illegal guns, fewer illegal immigrants, increased health, fewer addicts.
