Remember when he told everyone before he was elected he wouldn't golf while president?

Sometime I think I'm riding with Shady. Last movie trip my kid was railing against Biden. I pointed out he got an infrastructure through,  the student loan thing, the vaccine distribution thing, etc. 
My kid bitched if someone promises 40 things & delivers 5, they didn't do enough.

Granted, my kid is high-needs/spirited which meant a lot of work. When I explained, other parents would say "oh, that was my last kid". Yeah, my first kid was the one everyone stops at. They often have a sensitivity-sound, feel, etc. My kid was sound. How loud something was. My kid STILL will not go to On The Border because when we went there when my kid was 6 or 8, ot was too loud-the high ceilings reflected the sound too much.

So it became learning to control my behavior.
"Maybe" equaled a promise so I had to stop doing the parental delay "maybe later" because it meant promised. 
My nature is to be ambivalent,  but I was forced to make hard decisions instantly of yes, 2 cookies, or no, 1 cookie, etc.

PALMDALE , Calif. (AP) — America’s newest nuclear stealth bomber made its debut Friday after years of secret development and as part of the Pentagon’s answer to rising concerns over a future conflict with China.

The B-21 Raider is the first new American bomber aircraft in more than 30 years. Almost every aspect of the program is classified.

As evening fell over the Air Force’s Plant 42 in Palmdale, the public got its first glimpse of the Raider in a tightly controlled ceremony. It started with a flyover of the three bombers still in service: the B-52 Stratofortress, the B-1 Lancer and the B-2 Spirit. Then the hangar doors slowly opened and the B-21 was towed partially out of the building.

“This isn’t just another airplane,” Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said. “It’s the embodiment of America’s determination to defend the republic that we all love.”

The B-21 is part of the Pentagon’s efforts to modernize all three legs of its nuclear triad, which includes silo-launched nuclear ballistic missiles and submarine-launched warheads, as it shifts from the counterterrorism campaigns of recent decades to meet China’s rapid military modernization

Yes, Abs. Nothing in life is actually free except a smile from a child... which thankfully you have decided to not have.

But I doubt you make a fuss about it at the supermarket while you chow down on chunks of cheese and sausage with toothpicks sticking out of them.

You just eat them and let the consumer who buys the "Autumn Fresh Combo Box" pick up the tab for your indulgences. You only get upset when someone figures out a way where YOU actually have to pay for what YOU receive.

Single-payer UHC won't be free... but it will cost a lot less than what the government spends now. It will create private sector jobs and drive the economy to better heights than seen in decades.

But, alas. In order for that to happen, YOU will have to share some of your taxes with brown people and white people who don't have as many assets as you, and for that reason, you resist.

Tell you what. We'll build in an "opt out" option so that you can continue to pay for your own limited insurance... which is bound to be more expensive as the collective of insurance purchasers becomes smaller and smaller over time. Then you and your "personal responsibility" butt-buddies can pay more and receive less than the rest of us... and we'll never let you in our club. You opt out, it's forever. Good luck covering those deductibles, co-pays, and premiums on $25k/year.
