I don't really care if idiots never learn their lesson. What bothers me is clowns like that guy being fed and cared for decades after such a crime.
Weird how the Vet never has the same problems.........for a fraction of the price, I might add.
You mean for animals? The average animal being put down is smaller. Outside of horses & cows, etc. They gimet shot a lot, don't they? Damn that constitution with its Prohibition on cruel & unusual treatment! Oh, you mean like a 19 yr old shooting a bunch of people getting life in prison? But his SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHT TO HAVE THAT GUN!
Should be simple math........you go by average weight and increase the dosage.
What's cruel about euthanasia? Is it cruel to put a dog or cat down, that what you're saying?
I'm all for killing that 19 yr old soon after trial.

What the HELL goes thru a person's head that they have a job, but do this thinking they are getting away with it? No one will figure it out?
I saw that one, too. Tell me we shouldn't have MUCH quicker death sentences........maybe even televise them live
Good grief Wow. Kill the kid to hide one's mistake.

In the city where I live - up until 1997 - public executions were held at the soccer stadium at what is now called Olympic Square. I hear it was quite the family affair with a picnic-like atmosphere... and no shortage of people to execute.
No shortage.
That means that executions were not a deterrent or that the spectacle forced the government to kill people who would otherwise not be slated for such punishment.

I can't decide if this makes it better? or worse?
So according to him it wasn't the act of a sexual predator? but an accident........and then he consciously killed her to cover up an accident? wow

That guy was apparently one tough sonovabitch to kill. I don't think practiced medical people were involved in his assassination.
Anyway.......what does that have to do with pet or human euthanasia?

I don't see why anyone would trust a government to kill people. 'Cept for maybe a small child that's too young to understand how the world works.

That sometimes it takes more than expected to kill a person

When it comes to executions, I think it's an easy enough thing to up the dosage or go overboard. It's not like you're worried about the person dying.

One would think they could use whatever. But we have that thing preventing cruel & unusual punishment in our constitution so everything gets eliminated.

And I have been sedated several times, either for surgery or dentistry with no problems. What more should they ask for?

Yet there have been people die under anesthesia. The observers see the people jerk or move so the assumption is pain. Didn't the electric chair actually set fire to a few people? People hung who took longer because the neck didn't break? There was a story of a bad hanging where the guy was too heavy? Judas's rope broke, remember?

As I said, there's no worry of a death outcome during an execution.
Assumptions. These people have likely never watched anyone die......even of natural causes. It's not a common thing to see in our sterilized modern world. Heck, people aren't even dead until they're 'declared' at the hospital. And WHO CARES if a death penalty receiver suffered some slight discomfort on the way out? Odds are the reason they're there is because they did FAR WORSE to others themselves.
The olde human error. Morons performing the execution forgot to soak a sponge thoroughly enough, so the body was dry and caught fire. I was just listening tp a piece on how often human error really messes up things these days.
Sometimes you don't get the 'pop' from hanging, so that person has to be strangled by the rope. Which takes longer, obviously. Oh, well. Should have opted for gas or a gunshot.
I do....... that's how Gerard Butler became Dracula.

And so much of this population's perspective is clouded by the MSM, which edits and censors them from anything too traumatic.
People DIE. All day, every day.
