This F'n stupid........... MoneyWise 63% of Americans support the idea of new stimulus checks to combat hot inflation — and these states are stepping up to offer relief. But will it work?

I got my California gas rebate card.. From a fricken NY bank. Apparently they get $7 for me to transfer the funds to my bank because the closest bank to me is 300 miles away in Arizona.

Hey, they all gotta get their cut.
That's just the tip of the iceberg. All of this stimulus and student loan and welfare is just going to be on the tab of the next several generations. Guess who put them all back in chains?

Idn't it funny how decades of trickle down economics with large sum socialist giveaways to the rich are all fine and dandy. Let's keep doing that. But a few thousand bucks given to the middle class and poor are suddenly crashing our economy. Is anyone really buying this??

I seem to recall an article written by some pedantic right wing freak about how "trickle down" and "supply side" were two completely different things. But both involved large money giveaways to the rich. So maybe once one fails for 50 years, we should switch over to the other.

I've supported doing away with ALL forms of govt welfare.
Can't say I've ever had much support on that, though. Too many useless dependents around.

That's sorta what I figured........they got those tapettes on the side. It's self-contained and fairly self explanatory.

Really? I have seen a bunch of Congress dragging its ass. Manchin & Sinema holding everything up.

Those things rip off pretty easy, at least back in the 90s when my kid was in huggies

Technically there is a difference, but in real world practice it always seems to be the old Horse & Sparrow game. It worked do well for Liz Truss.

So supply side is tricke down + buying votes from a portion of middle class voters who don’t know any better. Makes sense.
