No, not really.
It's happening whether we like it or not. To what extent it's going to be a problem is debatable.
I've always taken a personal and practical approach to pollution - and that's all we're talking about: pollution.

Can of worms... is CO2 "pollution"? Not really, but trying to win that argument is like trying to catch a fart in a hurricane, so let me just say that the origins of actual, harmful gases, generally also emit CO2 and let it go.
I haven't driven in over 14 years. I have no need to. Everything I need is within walking distance or accessible by convenient and cheap public transportation. And in my city even all the buses are LNG, EV, or a hybrid of the two. I reduce, re-use, re-purpose, and recycle (that which can be recycled - which isn't as much as you might think). Hell, today I'm having a new stove-top put in just to use the new gas my city switched to more efficiently... and my boss gifted me an air fryer which I'm dying to try out.

In short, I'm doing what I have to do... and can do. What the fuck is your excuse? Why do so many protest that the government has to do something about Climate Change when all the government is ever going to do is figure out how make money from "carbon offsets" - a fucking scam and a half - and/or the companies that trade them? How can so many of these folks - many traveling by SUV - to protest Climate Change (and leave the protest area a garbage dump) think that they are making a difference simply because they shop for organic foods (not what they think they are... another scam) with a re-usable, hemp shopping bag?
One other thing I notice in my city: all new buildings are being built with reduction from the heat island effect in mind... lighter colors... heat absorbing windows... etc.
It's not that fucking hard people and it's things like that that will give us more time to get off the fossil fuel teat - which we need to do one way or the other.
I don't say these things because I'm a Climate Change alarmist. I say them because I'm a pollution realist. If everyone does a little (or a little more) then the cumulative effect is going to be far greater - AND CHEAPER - than whatever the government comes up with.
