Seems the neighborhood has a culture not worthy of appropriation....
Doesn't the US sorta have a long history of glamorizing criminal behavior? I just rewatched The Highwaymen last week .......... and Jesse James?

I'm not sure. Let's ask Spike Lee....
after checking, his credits are up to almost 100 titles (lotta shorts)
about the only other hting of his I even liked was Malcolm X..........and that could just be because of Denzel's raw talent

about the only other hting of his I even liked was Malcolm X..........and that could just be because of Denzel's raw talent
And the only thing to hate about that movie is Lee's role as "Shorty." |

I just checked his filmography and I know I've seen MALCOLM X, I think I've seen CLOCKERS and I'd like to see BLACKKKLANSMAN. Unsure about the rest, but I'll go with the flow if and when they become available to me to view. |
