Just caught 2 off of Netflix
Mr. Harrigan's Phone
When Mr. Harrigan dies, Craig, the teen who befriended and did odd jobs for him, puts his smart phone in his pocket before burial. When the lonely youth sends his dead friend a message, he is shocked to get a return text.
It started out pretty good and had a great premise, I thought.........but ultimately failed to deliver. So many missing details and missed opportunities.
Last Seen Alive
Will's soon-to-be ex-wife mysteriously vanishes at a gas station. He delves into the town's criminal underbelly while running from the authorities in a race against time to find her.
This one had a lot of very real modern possibilities. A few 'yeah, right!' moments.......but overall, I thought it was better than that 5.6 Grade

Maybe Will could ask Craig to contact Mister Harrigan, to find out if Will's soon-to-be ex-wife is still alive?

you figure the dead all become omnipresent or mingle in the same groups?

Or if there is an afterlife, it will be an equivalent existence to this, with equivalent groups and services available.

it's sorta like going to work at the DMV
Series Info
In the mythology of "Dead Like Me," certain people, when they die, are offered the job of grim reapers. They get a rapidly healing physical body (which has a different face when seen by the living) and the chance to stay in the world until they collect a requisite number of souls. Then, the job passes to the last dead person on their list. The newest addition to this team is Georgia "George" Lass, who died at 18 after being struck by flaming space debris. She was pretty unhappy in life, and learning that death doesn't offer relief from living is not sitting very well with her.

She might have had a miserable life, but surely such a cool cause of death must count for something... right?
