Weird. It's OK to blame Fauci, The CDC, The NIH, and the WHO for working with Chinese labs but it's not OK to suggest that "the experts" fucked up IN the US? Only yellow people can make mistakes?

It'd be like the 'Spanish' Flu all over again, huh?
Personally....... I'm not blaming the color of anyone's skin for this so called pandemic. The NIH/US Govt is every bit as responsible as the Wuhan Lab because THEY were funding it.
It's sorta like claiming you got rid of slavery in your country.....meanwhile you're using child labor and prisoner workforces in other countries for pennies an hour?

1. IIRC, they called it Spanish to deflect blame onto another place and people..........but knew it wasn't true.
2. If my wife was driving illegally and I knew it, I'd be guilty of aiding and abetting her. Just as Fauci & Co were paying for 'research' that has been banned in many places. Yeah, those intellectuals and science never backfire, right?

1. And yet you just pointed out how people used the term "Spanish Flu" simply as an insult to the people of Spain.
Sorry, Abs, but if you can't even stay consistent in your arguments in the course of two posts what makes you think anything you say has any value except as a target for mockery?
2. And yet one post ago you said it was a good thing.

1. But that's not it at all. It was called Spanish Flu as an insult to Spain for remaining neutral during the First World War. There's actually some evidence that the epidemic actually started in the US.
2. So it's OK to suggest that Covid-19 actually started in the US? Good to know since THAT is the topic of the thread, Horace.
And I never blamed Donnie or any of you orange-shirted MAGAts for creating Covid... only for not handling it correctly.
Words have meanings. It would be nice if you stopped trying to switch their meanings all the time, snowflake.

1. I didn't hear the part about their neutrality.........but I had heard they were blamed when those in charge of the narrative knew it wasn't true. So our media has a very, very long history of outright lying.
2. It's OK to suggest it, claim it, believe it, argue about it. Unlike covid in general which we all saw was NOT OK to discuss online without the approved and heavily censored narrative.
Monday morning quarterbacking. Pure and simple. You won't even give an inch when it turns out many of us were right all along that what Fauci & Co were pushing turned out to be folly from the start. I'm STILL laughing at videos of Biden and Kamala stating they wouldn't take the vaccine if Trump and his actions came out with one BEFORE the election. But since the Big Pharma companies waited until just days AFTER the election, now they're fully onboard and even calling for 5th Boosters now? pfffft
It's the world we live in now. Words and meanings are flexible........especially when you factor in politics

and what a timely headline...........even from a tax payer supported source you'd approve of.............
Public Health Scientists debate how lethal COVID is. Some say it's now less risky than flu

Remember how that would have gotten people BANNED from online sites back a few years ago?
But Mission Accomplished. They got the election result they wanted.
THAT's why it's worth $Billions spent to get someone elected

1. So does Donald Trump and his advisors. How many of them have been put on trial and convicted at this point?
2. Discussing it is OK. Making claims that could lead others to endangering their own health is wrong.
3. I've never made any claims about Fauci except that he was walking the balance beam in order to keep his job. I've always maintained that if people had just followed rules: wash/mask/distance, general lockdowns wouldn't have been necessary and lives would have been saved... which has been proven in places where people followed the rules.
4. Funny. Trumpanzees used to be so proud of Operation Warp Speed or whatever it was called... until they lost the election and the same vaccination they loved became the "POS vaccination being pushed on us by Democrats!"
5. If you don't like that they are flexible, stop twisting them to suit your own agenda.

Proud? Of being able to bring to market a product the Left said couldn't be done in so short a time?
Certainly not supporting MANDATING vaccinations in order to keep ones job or attending school.
I still remembering the lying c*cksucking teachers that demanded they have first access in order to get schools opened........then reneging and insisting NOW it had to be all the kids shot up first.......and not just high schoolers and college kids, but all the way down to the LEAST in danger, the very, very young. More of that science following, I guess.
But you view it how you wish..........and I'll do the same

2. What's the sense of a vaccination aimed at saving lives if you aren't going to use it to save lives?
3. Yeah. How dare those teachers try to protect themselves and everyone else!
4. I'm sure you'll continue to see it whichever way allows you to hate the most people possible in order to maintain your sense of superiority over them.

1. The pride only comes in showing up the doubters. The doubters who said they'd never take that vaccine if it showed up. I look forward to the late nite lawyer commercials in the future after side effects start showing up, too. Approximately 80% of the country has taken the vaccine.....so this notion that all GOPers refuse it is silly. Trump himself took it and pushes it. Not that he'd ever be given any positive credit for completing the task or pushing the drug. Orange Man always bad.
2. What's the point in having the United States and it's Constitution if you just wanna throw it all away in favor of being more like the rest of the world?
3. The vast majority could be replaced tomorrow with recordings and video screens..........as I pointed out years ago and was mocked for. Then came covid and suddenly remote teaching was all the rage.
4. The same sort of superiority that comes from being an expert or a teacher or a collectivist? How evolved.

1. I think it's important to be clear. 79% have had one dose (85% if you want to believe the CDC). Only about 68% have had both doses. And only about 33% have received a booster.
Of the people who have not received full vaccination (respondents could give multiple reasons), 42.4% of them don't trust the vaccine... period. Does that sound like the Democrats? 35.4% simply don't trust the government. That sounds like you and your GOP buddies. 31.8% simply don't believe a vaccine is necessary. Again, that sounds like you and your ilk. 22.4% don't think Covid is a threat. Jeezus, it's like reading your posts looking at these numbers.
Some 75% of the unvaccinated have a high school diploma or less. That is to say that the unvaccinated tend to be poorly educated. Trump loves those people.
2. "Promote the General Welfare." To many, that phrase means, "do things that keep the majority of the populace safe."
3. "Remote teaching" and "watching recordings" are two very different things. The fact that you can't tell the difference is proof of why Donnie loves you people.
4. Once again, you prove that you don't understand the meanings of the words "expert" or "collectivist."

1. How many vaccines have needed a booster to your recollection? Do you really question why just 33% went back for more? The science of herd immunity is obsolete now, is it?
I'd think a good 1/3 of the country is Independent........and from what any rational person has seen over the last 3 years, they shouldn't trust the Govt either.
I have had covid........ I think I'll be fine without a shot. Thanks anyway.
You college grads love tossing out those 'poorly educated' references, don't you? Cuz the last few waves of college grads are so superior and able to manage their own lives? Meanwhile what percentage of them were begging for a loan bailout?
2. And to people like me it simply means 'promote it'........as in offer useful advice and information. But provide tax dollars? Never.
3. Yeah, you changed your tune real quick once the schools got shut down.
4. That's your opinion.......the opinion of an expert collectivist.
