Johnston County teacher charged with multiple sex offenses, including statutory rape

A Johnston County public school teacher has been charged with multiple sex offenses, including statutory rape of a child under the age of 15.
Amanda Doll, 37, an English teacher at West Johnston High School in Benson, was arrested Friday, according to a list of inmates at the Johnston County jail maintained by the sheriff’s office.
Doll was charged with three felonies: statutory rape of a child under the age of 15; engaging in a sexual act with a student, and taking indecent liberties with a child, according to online court records.
She is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Doll worked as an English teacher at West Johnston High from Aug. 11, 2021, until Friday, according to Caitlin Furr, a spokeswoman for Johnston County Public Schools. She had previously worked as a substitute teacher beginning in May 2021.

I worked for a rehab where I had to sign an agreement to not take advantage of clients. I assumed it was mainly for males to be a problem , BUT almost each abuser was a female staff member.

I’m a teacher with 23 years. I can answer the one question about where were the adults after school. It’s no secret that 90% of ALL school personnel are out of the parking lot within 7-10 minutes after the last bell. The only ones left are the janitorial staff. I hope this helps.

That happened in my junior year in high school, school nurse was active with about 4 or 5 students, it was all swept under the rug, all she got was dismissal fired from her position

If you know anything about Johnston County, North Carolina you know this is prime pickings. Usually "Nannys" (four legged ones) are targeted for interactions such as this. In some areas of that county brothers and sisters are also first cousins and so forth. Weird locale.

Many are making jokes about her looks and the desperation of the boy, however, if that was a male teacher in that picture and he was having relations with a school girl, all would be outraged. That's called a double standard.

They neglected to mention that she is a braille teacher at a school for the vision impaired.
