Some of you may have noticed that I disappeared for a little while at the beginning of August and haven't been posting much since I came back.
I've been busy. In July, I found that I had a tumor in my bladder. Having that removed is why I was away at the beginning of the month. Turns out it was just Stage 1 but other tests got run.
Looks like I have a mild case of prostate cancer too. However, the docs aren't treating it aggressively. That's because I'll be dead from small cell lung cancer long before the prostate gives me any real trouble.
On that count, the docs give me 3 to 6 months... maybe a year with chemo, which I have already started but the side-effects are just starting to become evident and I'm not sure if I'll continue. There are monetary concerns even though it's much cheaper here.
Anyhooooo... that's what's up.
