The Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new strategist has claimed all white people are “rife with internalised racism and unconscious bias.”
Genevieve Roth said she realised she was “racist” after marrying her black husband.
“Race is an issue in our marriage because as a white woman of privilege, I have racist tendencies written in at a cellular level,” she said.

I'm not SMFH because she's saying that bias is written in at the cellular level. I'm SMFH because of the absurd implication that only white people have this "problem."
It's a biological fucking imperative to be wary of "the other." That's kinda how species manage to survive. If gazelles weren't wary of lions, we'd only learn about gazelles from the fossil record.
OK. She's being hyperbolic (as am I to an extent). But she's also being dangerous by conflating enculturation with DNA. And this silly notion has taken hold over the years, even being flogged by university professors (of "Race Studies"). More and more racial minorities are being taught that "racism" is encoded into the DNA of white people (and white people alone) rather than acknowledge that racism is a learned trait, and they certainly aren't learning that they've learned it too.
Because of this learning (and a bit of DNA), people are naturally going to gravitate towards grouping themselves with people who are like them, whether it be based on skin color, culture, socio-economic status, gender, sexual preference, etc., or some combination thereof.
We all do it.
No matter how much diversity we see in our group of friends, there will also be a certain commonality that "others" will not share and therefore, those "others" will never find [permanent] inclusion in our group.
The sad part is that as soon as someone says they are seeking diversity, unity, and equality, you can almost guarantee that the next thing they say will have something to do with the group they want to be separate from.
Again: SMFH
