NASA satellite images show how much Lake Mead has receded since 2000Marlene Lenthang Mon, July 25, 2022 at 11:43 AM New satellite images from NASA show Lake Mead’s dramatically shrinking shoreline and how parts of the once-sprawling reservoir have mineralized over the past two decades. Lake Mead, the largest reservoir in the nation, sits at just 27% capacity, its lowest point since April 1937 when it was first being filled, according to NASA. The lake, on the Nevada-Arizona border, is nearly unrecognizable from how it looked just 22 years ago, according to photos released by NASA Wednesday. An image taken from space on July 6, 2000, shows the lake full and a deep shade of blue. Another photo, taken July 3, shows a lighter color, meaning areas formerly underwater have mineralized, a phenomenon known as a “bathtub ring” effect.
P BWhen you look at the explosive growth in Utah, Arizona, and Las Vegas, it should come as no surprise that not as much water is flowing its way to these lakes and then on to Southern California and Mexico. When I lived in Los Angeles 20 years ago, I remember reading some scientific reports on how the region was going to eventually run out of fresh water and return to desert because the rivers were going to run dry due to overpopulation. I reckon we are on our way there.

That may have been a time when opposing views were actually allowed........unlike now.
You'd think you'd be seeing the parallels between the CCP and the US Govt in their approach to controlling the message/narrative these days

Fresh water will be gone in the West long before my location.........and that baby was likely aborted a long time ago

Apparently the business owners are more in favor of Illegals providing those babies? Actual responsible Americans do not have more kids than they can afford.......and affording them has just gotten harder and harder.
The basement of the FBI or NSA would do just fine

They swore an oath to the US Constitution.........not to corporate donors/lobbyists
Trust me, I've even had this little split in viewpoint with my own relative that's a cop.........but who acknowledges that not all laws are being enforced.

2. People swear to tell the truth in court. Do you think that they always do? That would sure as hell cut down on the need for lawyers, don't you think?
3. Until the cops feel like enforcing them. 25 white people jaywalk and the cops do nothing. A black guy jaywalks and it's all, "Shoot that n****r!"
