You're just a few days late but thanks.
Didja go out and trip the light fantastic? Probably not, huh? Happy B-Day, anyway

Apparently she tried to buy her kid some chips .........and her EBT was denied. So she threw a hissy, went and got her BF who returned with her to assault this guy behind the counter.
After the old guy used that blade in self-defense, she ended up landing a few knife stabs of her own on the old dude from behind. His lawyers said while he was held for 5 days, they didn't even give him proper medical care for those stab wounds.
So... NOT involved in the stabbing of her BF.
I don't know if that counts in the whole "felony murder" scheme of things.
She was involved in the assault of the bodega worker...........which ended up with her BF dead. I'm sorta looking at it like the getaway driver in a bank robbery where one of the robbers ends up shot dead inside the bank.

Unless it's a white Trumptard brandishing a weapon, right?

Is a white Trumptard robbing a bank? committing some other form of felony?

Threatening people with a gun then getting attacked in retaliation for the threat then killing the people he threatened in the first place and getting away with it because the original threatening wasn't considered a crime.
Our laws seem to be so weird... and generally racist.
That's the part you love.

O! You're back to Kyle again? That nice young man that volunteered his time, helped clean up after vandals and ended up shooting a few criminals?

That wasn't clear when I used the name a few posts back?
And he didn't "volunteer his time." In fact, he was supposed to be at his grandparent's house a couple miles away, protecting them. Unfortunately, they lived too far away so he went looking for trouble.

You sound as biased as the people that believe he went out and shot blacks only. Cuz that'd be the narrative pushed, right? It's as old as George Zimmerman.
Reuters How Kyle Rittenhouse went from cleaning graffiti to shooting 3 people November 11, 2021·2 min read
KENOSHA, Wis. (Reuters) - A jury in the murder trial of Kyle Rittenhouse, 18, decided on Friday to acquit him on all charges in the deaths of two men and the wounding of a third with a military-style rifle during protests last year in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Before the killings, Kenosha had endured two nights of chaotic protests over the police shooting of a local Black man, Jacob Blake. Several businesses were burned to the ground and there were incidents of looting. Police used rubber bullets and tear gas to control the crowds.
The following is based on court testimony, drone footage and videos from Aug. 25, 2020:
* During the day, Rittenhouse helps clean graffiti off a school. That same day Joseph Rosenbaum, 36, is released from a Milwaukee hospital where he had been admitted after a suicide attempt.
So one little boy was cleaning up.........and the other little boy was trying to off himself? A bi-polar homeless dude that had already spent a decade in prison? Pick better martyrs.

Did I ever suggest the people who were shot were good people?
Nope. Maybe they did some good deeds in their lives as well.
Why do Kyle's good deeds matter more than theirs?

It's evidence of what they were up to THAT DAY. Their intentions, their motivations and their actions.
I saw a very young man trying to help.......... I also saw men double his age up to no good and 'peacefully protesting'.
The first fella shot was mad Kyle put out a dumpster fire they were pushing towards a business? IIRC

1. Did those action warrant a death penalty?
2. I saw a young man brandishing his rifle and spoiling for a fight.

1. AHH! There's that kinda thinking I can't quite get with. This tactic of claiming "It was just a broken tail light!" after someone gets shot by the police? Never mind all of the OTHER things that escalated the situation and led up to the shooting itself.
I happen to think the death penalty BY THE STATE should be reserved for a small percentage of crimes. But when it comes ot civilians? in somewhat self-defense sorta cases, I give a lot more latitude. And maybe that's just because the criminal element in the country has no qualms whatsoever about killing people........so where do they get off expecting more?
2. I would definitely not have instigated or provoked him, myself. Some people chose otherwise. Compare it to blindfolding yourself and stepping out into traffic. It's bound to end badly. I'm certainly not gonna side with gun grabbers in this scenario. (or many, to be honest)

1. All the other things that wouldn't have happened if they hadn't been pulled over for a broken tail light.
2. Yeah. You're the coolest cucumber in crisper. Why isn't everyone else like you?

1. And that's how Peter Parker lost his Uncle Ben
2. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life. The difference seems to be I choose to not repeat those over and over and over again. Why isn't everyone like you? Maybe simply because they weren't privileged with the same brains, drive or motivation?

1. Uncle Ben was only there because he was dropping PP off to do something stupid.
2. Maybe they were but they were held back from reaching their potential. See "Monopoly" rules again.
No matter what, everything right or wrong with the world is going to eventually boil down to two important things: access to quality education and the way society perceives and reacts to poverty/poor people.

1. Making money in a match/contest? People aren't allowed out of their homes after dark?
2. Potential vs. Kinetic New $Millionaires every year would spoil the notion of a Monopoly.
Define 'quality education' .............and there will always be poor, at least as a comparison. The poor in the US are the envy of many who are much poorer in the world. So where should the focus be?

1. I thought we were just talking about doing what you know you shouldn't be doing.
2. Most of these "new millionaires" are "influencers." They produce nothing and barely provide a service no matter how generous I'm being with the definition.
3. Been there. Done that. And being poor in the US is still poor in the US.

3. Me, too. It motivated me.......at least a little. It comes down to perspective. Maybe if people here were subjected to actual poverty, they'd appreciate what they have here more? Like that 'free' education that they take for granted, for instance?

2. They didn't "find a way." They were provided with an avenue that some took advantage of and others didn't. Some that took advantage of the avenue fared better than others. THAT is equal opportunity... with some minor caveats... because of the quality of the system and the system providers constantly looking for ways to improve the quality. There are flaws, to be sure, the community and system providers seem to (generally) work together to fix them. When the system becomes exclusionary (on any basis) - looking at you, Twitter - that's when you see problems.
Problems can be fixed, but only if the whole community wants it or at least allows for it. It doesn't diminish competition. In fact, there are other platforms out there growing. The next problem is that some of them are based on being exclusionary of the "other group" while others are trying in earnest to be completely inclusive.
Sorry... rambling... other things on my mind...
Many of the "new millionaires" that you love so much are making bank by hating on you and your ilk. THEY are trying to keep you out of the game.
3. Again, you're talking about cost while I'm talking about quality

I just think ever expecting the 'whole community' to agree on anything is a tough call..........and even in this great melting pot, people often tend to separate themselves while excluding others. I'm sure you've heard the line "Well, you're a white male......so you don't get to even have an opinion."
I don't hate on success. Maybe I don't wanna play in their reindeer games anyway?
3. Forgive me for expecting a bit more quality when the costs are so high.
