No. I'm not saying she was perfect. I'm not saying the IRA should celebrate her term as Britain's PM or anything like that, but this was a woman who took on the oldest of Old Boys Clubs, chewed them up, spat them out, and took over as the leader of the pack. She was real life Arya Stark, but many feminists don't seem to appreciate what she did.

Although I'd probably disagree with her on many philosophical principles, I have always admired her determination and style. I also think the single most impressive thing about her was her visit to the SAS training centre and her participation in the training exercise in "the killing house".

She was a ballsy lady whom I think Feminists should celebrate for her accomplishments in that arena rather than demean her based on other factors, but too many people are too caught up in the trend of judging people based on their worst moments rather than their best ones.
And it always cracks me up when people talk about her breaking strikes in the mining industry and then skip over her stance on climate change and completely ignore how much the mining industry is hated in the US.
The only consistent thing in political discourse these days seems to be hatred and hatred can lead to as much irrationality as blind devotion.

Don't you just hate that?
