In 2009, cave explorer John Edwards got trapped headfirst in Nutty Putty Cave, Utah USA and couldn't be rescued. He suffered Cardiac Arrest after being inverted for 28hrs and died with his body is still trapped upsidedown. The Caves have been shut with concrete now.

The glass was likely hotter than the fluid........and there was possibly a pre-existing chip or crack that decided to expand

I'm just speculating that the interior of the car was at least 20-30 degrees warmer.......unless they rolled all the windows down and were driving?

The kid was driving, but probably not the window down.
Likened it to ice/glass/hot liquid.
But it is strange. I never heard of that happening

That's why I suspected a previous chip or slight crack.......... I've seen a crack suddenly increase in size/length for similar reasons.

That's why I suspected a previous chip or slight crack.......... I've seen a crack suddenly increase in size/length for similar reasons.

Yeah, I had a tiny chip that spidered all over in the sun one day.

Meanwhile, I was changing windshield wipers on the truck, one snapped back, hit the windshield at the base. I have driven with that crack (actually 2 or 3 lines) at the base of the windshield still under the wiper blade level since around 2004

those are the 'lucky' cracks. They go up and across and back down...........but remain out of your line of vision and do not usually catch the attention of cops.

A Chinese man has been executed for murdering his ex-wife by setting her alight while she was livestreaming.

The woman, known as Lamu, was a well-known social media personality on Douyin, China's version of TikTok.

Hundreds of thousands of her followers had watched videos about her life in the mountains of Sichuan province.

The case put the spotlight on violence against women in China. One survey suggests a quarter of all Chinese women have suffered from domestic abuse.

The mother-of-two is reported to have approached police about her husband's violence while they were married only to be told it was a family matter

When her husband Tang Lu was sentenced to death, the court in Aba prefecture, a remote rural area in the south-west of Sichuan province where a large number of ethnic Tibetans live, found that his crime had been "extremely cruel" and the social impact had been "extremely bad".

And people watched her burn.
